Nature and the beauty of the park; proximity to my home location; variety of guest interactions.
Poor pay for work expected; lack of thorough training in some areas; speed at which they try to implement without proper support in place; do things “cheaply” and expect quality people to work for them; upper C-suite makes decisions that make no sense in a day-to-day operational sense; lack of financial equity among departments.
Getting to work in nature
Not much
Stop peddling mediocrity and pare down product and services so they can focus on doing a few things exceptionally well. Actually have upper management listen to the “boots on the ground” doing the daily work and actually use their ideas vs overriding every decision, only to have to fix it and re-do it later.
I learned about the park, the history and I showed up 100% as myself, letting them know how I could add to any success they might be having, as well as how I could help them improve.
Paltry in terms of what they ask of employees. It’s not a quality exchange at all.
Diversity does exist.
A few of my co-workers, the physical natural environment and guest interactions.
