SCOPE OF WORK:
The NetApp Storage Consultant will serve as a resident engineer supporting enterprise storage environments. This role focuses on storage migrations, ONTAP administration, and StorageGrid operations, working closely with the customer's storage operations and engineering teams. The consultant will provide hands-on technical leadership, documentation, and process improvement to ensure seamless migration and ongoing storage optimization.
* Location: 100% remote (East region)
* Duration: 12-month residency contract (likely to renew)
THESE ARE THE JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF A NETAPP STORAGE CONSULTANT:
* Work under the direction of the storage operations manager and leads to plan, execute, and support large-scale data migrations
* Perform migration activities across multiple environments, including:
* 3rd-party hardware to StorageGrid
* StorageGrid to StorageGrid
* Oracle ZFS to ONTAP (strong plus)
* Deploy and administer NetApp ONTAP, including configuration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
* Leverage DataDobi StorageMap (formerly DobiMigrate) for data migrations, including planning, execution, and cutover support
* Provide engineering-level expertise in ONTAP and StorageGrid environments for performance optimization and feature validation
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (architecture, operations, and product management) to align technical solutions with business objectives
* Support migration-related documentation, progress reporting, and issue resolution across multiple stakeholders
* Review existing system configurations to identify opportunities for consolidation, optimization, and automation
* Assist with disaster recovery planning, infrastructure design, and validation of ONTAP updates and feature enhancements
* Develop scripts or workflows to simplify repetitive operational tasks
* Ensure compliance with operational and security standards in a regulated industry environment
YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO HANDLE EVERYTHING ABOVE BECAUSE YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE LIKE:
* Proven migration process experience across enterprise storage platforms
* Deep expertise with NetApp ONTAP at both engineering and operations levels (SME-level proficiency)
* Hands-on experience with StorageGrid and AWS migration scenarios
* Proficiency with DataDobi StorageMap tools for planning and executing data migrations
* Strong understanding of file and object storage protocols (NFS, CIFS, S3)
* Proficient in NetApp storage technologies, including SnapMirror, FabricPool, Snapshots, deduplication, and cloning
* Familiarity with Oracle ZFS, VAST, and Cloud Insights is a plus
* Strong grasp of the infrastructure stack: compute, networking, and virtualization
* Excellent communication skills for documentation, stakeholder updates, and cross-team collaboration
* Experience working in a regulated industry and adhering to compliance-driven operational processes
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA) or higher certification
* Experience using monitoring platforms, backup/disaster recovery tools, and WAN performance management
* Scripting ability (PowerShell, Python, or equivalent) for workflow automation
* Prior experience in a resident consultant or customer-facing technical role

This position supports and validates Provider Network (physicians, hospitals, pharmacies, ancillary facilities, shared/full risk delegation, etc.) contracting and unit cost management activities through financial modeling, analysis of utilization, and reporting. Conducts unit cost and contract valuation analysis in support of network contracting negotiations and unit cost management strategies. Manages unit cost budgets, target setting, performance reporting, and associated financial models.

Primary Responsibilities:
* Support network pricing strategies and tactics, in collaboration with local network field leaders and network managers
* Analyze financial impact of provider contracts (e.g., facility; physician; ancillary)
* Analyze financial impact of corporate initiatives (e.g., policy changes; healthcare affordability) or external regulations (e.g., healthcare reform)
* Analyze payment appendices to provide options for various contracting approaches and methodologies
* Communicate results of financial impact and analysis to appropriate stakeholder groups (e.g., Network Management; Network Pricing leadership)
* Conduct financial and network pricing modeling, analysis and reporting
* Perform unit cost and contract valuation analysis in support of network contracting negotiations and unit cost management strategies
* Lead large, complex projects to achieve key business objectives
* Influence pricing strategies and rate development by highlighting opportunities for improvement or protecting favorable rate structures
* Strategize rates or contract methodology with network management to create optimal contract
* Review competitive analysis to identify appropriate pricing rate for provider

Required Qualifications:
* 4+ years of analytical experience in financial analysis, healthcare pricing, network pricing, healthcare economics or related discipline
* 3+ years of experience with provider payment methodologies and healthcare products
* 3+ years of experience in creating and using financial modeling tools, spreadsheets and information acquisition tools
* Experience with provider capitation, both diagnostic risk-adjustment and age/sex adjusted rate banding
* Experience in interpreting and reviewing financial modeling results to evaluate the financial impact of contract changes and develop forecasts
* Presentation experience to internal or external stakeholders or customers
* Expert level proficiency in MS Excel
* Proven expertise in financial impact analysis, risk management and data manipulation
* Proven solid interpersonal, collaboration, negotiation and communication skills
* Proven excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deliverable deadlines
* Proven ability to research and solve problems independently
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate degree in Math, Statistics, Finance, Economics or Actuarial Science
* Experience in MS Access, SAS, SQL, R, or Python
* Experience with advanced statistical functions for financial modeling
* Experience with medical coding (CPT, MSDRG, REV, ICD-10, etc.)
* Knowledge of Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid PPO and HMO revenue and expense, as well as delegation financial modeling

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Core Responsibilities:
Grow decentralized (large/commercial) system sales of advanced treatment systems.
Build long-term relationships with decision makers (civil/environmental consulting engineers and onsite wastewater engineers/designers, regulatory agencies, contractors, and developers) within a defined region. Track projects and relationship building through existing customer relationship management (CRM) system.
Meet with consulting engineers or design influencers via face-to-face and web meetings or presentations.
Conduct formal presentations (lunch and learns, chapter meetings, or other)
Provide occasional regulatory and technical support related to single-family advanced treatment systems sold by Infiltrator.
Qualifications (must have):
Strong skill in presenting technical product information in individual, small group, and large group settings.
Strong customer/client focus and demonstrated ability to identify and close (gain commitment for) large project specifications and purchases.
Problem solving, excellent communication skills, ability to comprehend wastewater treatment/dispersal concepts and methods, self-starting, results oriented, and has the ability to adapt.
B. S. Degree in civil or environmental engineering.
Excellent skillset with Microsoft Office 365.
Must be able to travel within the sales territory and maintain responsive communication with internal contacts and external customers. Overnight travel requirement varies between 1 and 3 nights per week.
Comfortable and highly productive in a home office setting and while travelling.
Experience collaborating with cross functional teams.
Must have satisfactory driving record, maintain valid driver's license, and current insurance on personal vehicle if used for business. Must meet company insurability requirements.
Territory geography - Southeast - must reside in MS, AL, TN or KY.
EDUCATION:
