IMPORTANT: For the first 6-8 weeks of the assignment, all contractors are required to work Mon-Fri (0730-1600) to complete New Hire Orientation and Manufacturing On-boarding Technical Training. After the training is successfully completed, the contractor is deployed onto the shift as needed by the dept leadership.
Role is full time 4/10 role but the roles and shifts can change with the needs of the dept. Shift times will be directed by the manager or dept leads.

The Cell Therapy Technician will perform and/or verify all tasks associated with the manufacture of commercial product following batch records and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure safe and compliant operations as well as works as part of a team to execute GMP runs in close collaboration with Materials Management, Quality Control and Quality Assurance.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Pack and ship kits to the participants of our events based on daily orders.
Follow all company guidelines regarding packing.
Monitor and ensure product quality.
Unpack deliveries, stock shelves, and perform inventory stocktakes.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Prior experience in fulfillment, retail, or the arts is a plus!
Excellent skills in the areas of organization, efficiency, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Logistics:
This is an in-person position, reporting to our homebase in DUMBO, Brooklyn.
This is an as-needed hourly position. Hourly needs vary week to week, Monday-Friday between 10am-6:30pm. We will reach out when shifts are available to be picked up.

The Role:
As a Fulfillment Associate, you will serve as the backbone for Fulfillment as a Service at Cart.com. Getting a package to a customer's doorstep is not an easy task. Our fulfillment associates should be ready to provide efficient and quality work for our clients and customers while solving problems as they come up. In this role, you will work closely with your floor manager, team leads, and fellow associates. This individual is expected to be eager to learn new things, be a team player, and be ready to find out of the box solutions.
What You'll Do:
You are the magic behind the fulfillment warehouse experience. Day-to-day tasks can include picking and packing product from our warehouse shelves, restocking and cycle counting inventory, or prepping special projects. Our associates should be ready to help any team within our warehouses that might need it most on any given day, be that inbound, outbound, inventory, or returns.
Must be available for drills or actual emergency response (24/7/365 as needed) as a fully trained associate in all facets of the operation (after hours response includes additional hourly pay).
Required to work one 5 hour shift each week as scheduled in advance (M-F, 7:00 am-12:00 pm or 12:00 pm-5:00 pm).
Must be willing to work in a cold-storage/freezer work environment.
Must be comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment ranging from -112 degrees to 66-77 degrees Fahrenheit and outside ambient temperatures (including heat and cold).
