The CIF Stock Clerk receives, stores, and issues equipment, materials, supplies, merchandise, foodstuffs, or tools, and compiles stock records of items in stockroom, warehouse or storage yard.
Responsibilities

MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:

+ Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoice.

+ Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications.

+ Stores articles in bins, on floor or on shelves, according to identifying information, such as style, size or type of material.

+ Fills orders or issues supplies from stock.

+ Prepares periodic, special or perpetual inventory of stock.

+ Requisitions articles to fill incoming orders.

+ Compiles reports on use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, spoilage of or damage to stock, location changes, and refusal of shipments.

+ May make adjustments or repairs to articles carried in stock and may cut stock to site to fill orders.

+ Job duties and responsibilities may change due to contractual requirements.

+ Ensures that all safety precautions are adhered to at all times.

+ Performs other duties as assigned to meet organizational/operational objectives.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

+ Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as cloth/disposable face masks covering the nose and mouth, safety vest, steel or composite shoes/boots, safety gloves, hard hat and eyewear in assigned areas.

+ Must be able to work in indoor and outdoor environments with various climates.

+ Warehouse environment with limited heat or cooling abilities.

+ NAC-I clearance required.

Experience:

+ 2 years or more supply chain or logistical operations

+ Must be familiar with the Department of the Army Inventory Management System.

+ Valid Driver's License without restrictions.

+ Ability to prioritize, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and interact at all levels.

+ Capacity to work well under pressure and tight deadlines.

+ Strong written and verbal communications skills; ability to interact at all levels.

+ Other duties as assigned to meet organizational/operational objectives.
