We are currently hiring for the position of QLD Warehouse Coordinator. The successful candidate will be working for Wood Products Australia (Lytton - QLD) and will report to Karl Cantwell, QLD Warehouse Manager.
About the role
Reporting to the QLD Warehouse Manager, you will assist the day-to-day operational requirements of the Brisbane Distribution Unit.
As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and organised operation of our warehouse facility.
Main responsibilities:
* Coordinate and oversee daily warehouse operations with the forklift operators to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment & receivables.
* General administration duties to be included i,e RF Scanning, printing & manifesting delivery notes, WMS inventory control & Stocktaking.
* Perform regular inventory controls and keep standards high for audits.
* Ensuring the yard is a safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
* Ensure housekeeping standards are kept at high level throughout the warehouse and yard.
* Ensure quality service standards are compliant with internal and external stakeholders.
* Assist WH Manager with the operations of a purposely built timber treatment plant.
* Manual handling of timber and materials at times
* 95% of the role will be required on floor vs 5% admin
About you
* Previous experience as a Warehouse Coordinator or Operations is essential.
