Responsibilities * Use a Gas Metal Arc and Metal Core Arc welding process to weld parts to print specifications. * Inspect parts per print specifications. * Set up and adjust welder and fixtures to print specifications. * Use a carbon arc air gouging and cutting process for rework. * Use hand grinders to fit parts, rework defective welds, and grind welds flush as needed. * Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent. * Ability to read blueprints, use tape measure, understand weld symbols, basic math, reason and analyze. * Previous welding experience preferred. Material Handling: Cut and measure materials, working with both pneumatic and electrical power tools. Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation (if STW is not developed for any process within this job, proper training techniques must be followed). 7.
