Responsibilities
* Use a Gas Metal Arc and Metal Core Arc welding process to weld parts to print specifications.
* Inspect parts per print specifications.
* Set up and adjust welder and fixtures to print specifications.
* Use a carbon arc air gouging and cutting process for rework.
* Use hand grinders to fit parts, rework defective welds, and grind welds flush as needed.
* Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Ability to read blueprints, use tape measure, understand weld symbols, basic math, reason and analyze.
* Previous welding experience preferred.

Primary Responsibilities:
Equipment Repairs: Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on all shipping containers and chassis using IICL standards as a guide.
Welding and Cutting: Conduct welding and cutting during routine and extensive repair of containers and chassis in accordance with DOT, OSHA, and IICL procedures.
Material Handling: Cut and measure materials, working with both pneumatic and electrical power tools.

Fabricator / Welder Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Pay $DOE We're hiring a Fabricator/Welder to perform fabrication, welding, and general maintenance tasks to support equipment, machinery, and facility operations. This is a hands-on role requiring mechanical ability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. Ideal for individuals who enjoy working with their hands and take pride in quality workmanship.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform welding and fabrication on metal components and equipment
Repair and maintain machinery and production tools
Operate various welding tools and fabrication equipment safely
Assist in general shop maintenance and support tasks
Follow blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions
Perform physical tasks including lifting, carrying, crouching, and climbing
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies
Schedule:
Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-5:00 PM
Education & Experience:
High School diploma or GED required
Prior welding and fabrication experience preferred
Familiarity with shop tools and machinery a plus
Other Qualifications:
Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more regularly
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
Must pass pre-employment drug screen

To execute structural and pipe welding with first-time-quality in support of module fabrication for U.S. Navy vessels, ensuring adherence to Safety, Quality, Cost, and Schedule objectives.
2. POSITION SUMMARY
This position welds foundations, structural assemblies, and pipe systems supporting CVN, VCS, and ORP module construction. Welders complete craft qualification through Welding School and maintain procedural compliance for NAVSEA/NNS acceptance, supporting TIGER Team readiness and production execution.
3. RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
· Perform tack, fillet, and full-penetration welds on carbon steel and alloy materials.
· Execute welding in all positions using SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, GTAW.
· Meet nondestructive test acceptance: VT, MT, UT, RT.
· Support schedule-driven execution.
· Operate safely in elevated, restricted, and confined space environments.
· Maintain equipment and complete arc maintenance tasks.
· Participate in morning standups and readiness reporting.
· Uphold all TMS, our customer and NAVSEA process controls.
· Support rework elimination and first-time-quality strategies.
4. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Must Have Requirements:
· Minimum one (3) year welding experience OR graduation from AWS-accredited welding school.
· Ability to pass respirator fit testing and physical agility assessment.
· Able to work assigned shifts, overtime, heights, and confined spaces.
· Able to kneel, squat, bend, stoop, crawl, climb, and lift minimum 40 lbs.
· Able to work in all weather environments.
· Must pass background investigation and drug screening.
· Must pass TMS procedural testing and training.
Preferred Experience:
· Shipyard structural or pipe welding experience (NNS, Ingalls, etc.).
· Navy combatant ship experience: CVN, VCS, ORP.

About The Opportunity
Join, fabricate and repair metal and other welding material by applying appropriate welding techniques and
operating various welding devices.
Starting Hourly Pay Rate: $18.50 (may have an additional shift differential)
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process.
2. Inspect completed welds to determine structural soundness.
3. Start up and shut down machines properly.
4. Consistently and safely operates machines at or above standards of operation including waste, quality, efficiency and utilization.
5. Troubleshoot, identify and correct machine/rack -related problems through proper adjustments to various parts of the machine.
6. Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation (if STW is not developed for any process within this job, proper training techniques must be followed).
7. Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain any and all CI, 5S and STW activities.
8. Contribute to a team effort.
9. Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
10. Other duties as assigned.
