What You'll Do
As a Kitchen Cleaner for Michigan Dining you will maintain a clean kitchen by removing trash, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning equipment, filtering fryers, cleaning hood vents and drains, and washing dishes, pots, pans. Assist and work with other kitchen cleaners and staff performing general cleaning of kitchen areas and maintain a clean work environment following HACCP standards and health codes.

* One year experience cleaning in an institutional setting
* Experience cleaning and operating institutional cleaning equipment including, but not limited to, a rack washer, three-compartment sink, Power Soak equipment, and/or other.
* Experience performing physical job tasks safely. This includes but is not limited to lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, reaching, standing (up to 8 hours), and pushing and pulling up to 35 pounds.
* Excellent communication skills: ability to read English with comprehension, listen effectively, speak and write clearly, and accurately follow written instructions, including job routines, directions, and precautions on chemical product labels.

We are looking for skilled assemblers who can work with small precise parts using tweezers. The role involves occasional machine operation by placing parts in a jig and aligning them on the computer. You will perform quality checks using a microscope and magnifying glass and occasionally work in a clean room or run a laser etching machine.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assemble small precise parts using tweezers.

+ Conduct quality checks with microscopes and magnifying glasses.

**Essential Skills**
+ 1+ year of experience in a role requiring attention to detail and quality control using microscopes, micrometers, or calipers.

+ 1+ year of experience in data entry and computer skills, preferably in a medical setting with ERP or Epicor.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in a medical-related position is a plus.
