You'll get to:
Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, or overhead) and material supply fulfillment along with satisfactory performance requirements.
Capable of performing said operations to close tolerances and shall inspect the parts for conformity to quality standards as established for the department. Inspection is to include component defects and operation of all working parts.
The manual welder shall be capable of working from drawings and/or blueprints and possess the necessary knowledge of measuring instruments needed.
Operators shall be completely capable of controlling the required dimensions by use of such jigs and fixtures as furnished.

Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved obstetric nursing techniques

Provide immediate postpartum care, including assessment and stabilization of mother and newborn

Responsible for performing mechanical repairs of a complex nature using hand and power tools.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance according to established schedules.
Use technical drawings, manuals, and schematics to guide repair and assembly work.
Fabricate machine guards, special tools and equipment as needed.

Must be able to stand/walk on concrete floors for 10-12 hour shifts.
Must be able to push/pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

Completion of a 2-year course of study in industrial maintenance, a recognized maintenance apprenticeship program, or two years' industrial maintenance experience.
Three-to-five years' experience as a maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing environment.
