Job Responsibilities
Responsible for receiving and inspecting products, accurately labeling items and reporting any discrepancies in reconciliation of deliveries and invoices.
Responsible for organizing and storing all incoming products in assigned locations, applying FIFO (first in, first out) inventory controls for perishable products.
May require training and operation of a manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack, and/or forklifts.
Picks inventory to assemble orders of product, supplies and equipment for requisitions or established par levels.
Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to meet accuracy and production standards.
Load, unload and transport products and materials to different areas of the warehouse and/or other client locations. May require use of carts, powered industrial vehicles (PIV), or motor vehicles.
Responsible for conducting routine physical inventory counts based on established location schedules.
Accurately complete administrative duties including records such as inventory count documents, temperature and spoilage logs, equipment inspections, and any other relevant business records. This may be on paper or in a technology-based system (hand-held device or PC).
Clean work areas as assigned, including but not limited to restrooms, break areas, loading dock, freight elevator and freight platform delivery areas when applicable.
Implement all location safety policies, OSHA requirements, SDS standards, and emergency procedures. Use all required safety equipment and personal protective equipment.
Takes appropriate measures to ensure the security of client and company assets.
Interact with clients, employees, vendors, customers, and guests about business-related activities and attend meetings, as required.

Returns: Sticking labels on boxes, lighter lifting compared to most other positions - may not have many temps in this position due to credit card/customer information.
Picking: Picking shoes from boxes, scanning code, putting in boxes. Need to be focused, have attention to detail skills, and be able to work on a computer efficiently.
Receiving: Unloading trucks, putting boxes onto conveyor belt - this will be the most physical position with lifting and moving a lot.
Packing: Checking shoes that are in box to ensure they match the label and putting label into boxes. This can become a fast-paced job as there will be multiple boxes coming down the line at a time.
Lidding: Cutting off excess box lid that is not done by the machine and taking to top lid off of boxes, throwing lid into trash bin.
Manuel Order Start: Where we have someone manually scan orders to a totes for small batch orders. We have temps at times help with making the small cartons for it, or pre-label the small cartons with our LP label before the cartons are made up.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to walk/stand continuously
Ability to pull/pick product from cartons including scanning and placing them into another carton (requires turning, bending, reaching, grasping)
Ability to pack, wrap, band, and label product/cartons including turning to collect air pillows, labels and other supplies/materials (requires turning, bending, reaching, stooping)
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, moving/lifting skids, lifting and moving, stacking, loading cartons with or without the use of a hand jack. (requires lifting at waist level, lifting at ground level, lifting at over the shoulder level; bending, stooping, grasping)
Ability to see, read, and comprehend content on labels and shipping paperwork.
