Job Duties & Responsibilities: * Inspect/accept responsibility for all containers prepared prior to performing additional container preparation * Inspect OTD containers for structural integrity and to process satisfactory containers only * Check doors and latches on boxes and reject problem boxes * Install inner liners in such a manner that allows the robot to package the container without pulling the liner inside the container * Must control housekeeping in and around the designated Box Preparation area * Must understand daily production sheet and meet the needs of the upcoming shift * Communicate material needs to forklift operator and Team Leader * Must be able to distinguish between different box parts, including pallets, inner liners, ladders, and ladder positioning, outers, lids, and dust covers/poly liners for metal containers The successful candidate will maintain a high degree of personal safety and environmental awareness at all time. This positions requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a safe, efficient manner. The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing is also required.
