POSITION PURPOSE:
Distribution Center Order Picker Operator is responsible for accurately picking customer requested items and quantities and follow all safety and picking procedures.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Follow all DC's safety rules and policies.
Assure to get orders from shipping clerk or lead and follow order picking priorities according to instructions from shipping clerk or lead.
Assure to follow picking process.
Verify that the correct item numbers and quantities were picked.
Fill all required forms for product and shipment identification.
Report any damaged product or inventory discrepancy.
Maintain inventory accuracy by making the correct and all necessary transactions in JDE system and physically.
Maintain 5s standards in rack locations by breaking boxes and throwing them up in the Gaylord as they pick, picking up trash, skids debris, straps and shrink wrap form assigned aisles.
Receive and put-away finish product when required.
Pick an average of 25 lines per hour.
Other duties as assigned.
SPECIFIC TYPES OF KNOWLEDGE SKILL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:
1 minimum 6 months warehouse picking and shipping experience.
Handheld scanner experience.
Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and procedures.
1 year or more of forklift driving experience and have current Forklift Certification.
Intermediate Computer skills.
Basic math.
Flexible with working hours.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
