Job Title: Shipping Clerk Reports To: Shipping Manager Pay: $22-$25 per hour (Contract-to-Hire) Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM, Saturdays as needed The Shipping Clerk is responsible for preparing and coordinating all outgoing shipments. This includes checking orders for accuracy, creating shipping documents, packaging and labeling products, and scheduling pickup with carriers. Report packaging, equipment, or documentation issues to the Shipping Manager. Receive and inspect incoming materials and ensure proper documentation. Maintain chemical inventory, ensure proper certifications, PPE, and storage. Keep the shipping area clean, safe, and organized. Cross-train in other departments as needed. Perform other tasks to support daily operations. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Good verbal and written communication skills. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
