The anticipated rate for this position is $15.00 per hour depending on location, knowledge, skills, education and experience. Associates (and their families) are eligible to participate in a limited medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, and short-term disability. Eligible Associates are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan. Associates can accrue paid time off up to 152 hours per year (inclusive of PTO, floating holidays, and paid holidays). Paid sick time up to 64 hours per year unless otherwise required by law. Respectful schedules during operating hours of 6am - 10pm. Requirements Who You Are: * Must be at least 18 years old. * Ability to communicate clearly with customers, and associates. * Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Adherence to attendance policy is necessary. * Ability to intermittently lift, push and/or pull up to 50 pounds, and stand/move for entire shift. * Ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl and/or twist, and safely climb up/down a ladder. * Physically able and willing to become certified to operate a forklift in accordance with IPP. (Injury, and Illness Prevention Program)

As a Part-Time Stocker you will keep our retail stores organized and our shelves full for our customers by unloading product deliveries and moving the product to the sales floor. They maintain the visual presentation of the sales floor, as well as greeting customers and assembling products for displays and customers as needed. Key Responsibilities: * Sorting merchandise from pallets to carts for easier stocking and putting the product in the proper places in the store or backstock areas. * Complete endcap resets, modular resets, pod creation, and store front facing. * Working backstock bins and working top stock down. * Assisting customers with carry-outs to their vehicles and assembling products for customers or display. What you will bring to the table: * Prior retail sales, cashier, stocking, or customer service experience admired, but not required. * Flexible availability and willingness to work some weekends and holidays as needed. * A love of tools & equipment. * Excellent communication skills. * Ability to lift 70 Lbs. * Service focused mindset. This is not an official job description, but represents major responsibilities a new hire can expect to perform: You could expect the position of center store clerk to include the following: • Provide friendly and courteous service to customers • Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job. • Stock, straighten and rotate product on shelves in Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods., and Grocery Departments. • Process incoming product from our warehouse and direct store delivery vendors • Read and understand shelf tags • Sort damaged product for credit • Operate a hand jack, power lift and cardboard baler • Follow company safety guidelines when using cutters, power lifts, and baler • Maintain cleanliness of shelves, displays, backroom, refrigerated cases, cooler and freezer • Maintain company productivity standards • Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of store management TRAINING Training will be provided at store level. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Bending Stooping Able to stock 50 cases per hour Able to work in a cold environment (-10 to 40 degrees) Able to push loaded two wheeler (average 100-120 pounds) Able to pull a loaded pallet (up to 700 pounds) Able to pull loaded stock truck Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Working on feet entire shift (4-8hours) Additional Requirements - Internal Candidates: Store/Facility Teammates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred. The Stocking Associate performs various merchandise stocking duties both in Receiving & on the Sales Floor.
