The Ordering Clerk manages and coordinates the store's ordering and inventory control processes while ensuring efficient and accurate stock levels. Place and manage orders for store merchandise, ensuring timely and accurate procurement of items. Verify and track orders from suppliers, ensuring completeness and accuracy. Maintain relationships with suppliers and salespeople to ensure optimal order fulfillment. Oversee department standards, maintain accurate stock levels, proper codes, and good rotation of items. Verify invoices for accurate billing and maintain inventory control. Monitor inventory levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts and adjust orders accordingly. Review all DSD deliveries to ensure accurate and timely receipt of goods. Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment, including using personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly.
