As a Selector Trainee, you will work individually selecting full-case grocery, frozen, and/or perishable products from warehouse pick slots using a pallet jack or other equipment. You will either use order sheets or an audio headset. You will then fit the items on a pallet (are you good at Tetris?), plastic wrap the bundles, transport pallets to shipping dock and in some cases, load them onto a trailer for delivering to customers. Part-Time Flex associates must be available to work a minimum of two regularly scheduled shifts on the weekend** (Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday) and two during the week (Monday to Thursday). For an associate to be scheduled 20 hours or more weekly, greater availability (beyond the minimum required above) that meets the needs of the business will be required. **Weekend availability cannot fall on the same day; an associate must be available on two separate days (Friday and Saturday, Friday and Sunday or Saturday and Sunday). Physical Requirements: Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time Ability to operate POS system Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 pounds, while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques Benefits Just for You This role offers a competitive compensation package including pay and benefits. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. The anticipated pay range for this role will be: $16.50-$17.50 per hour.
