    Job Description is responsible for executing sourcing and project-related purchasing activities in alignment with the needs of Power Generation Solutions Team (PGS). The Buyer will support internal stakeholders by managing supplier relationships, issuing purchase orders, and helping control procurement costs while ensuring material deliveries align with project schedules. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Sourcing • Support Sourcing team to prepare and facilitate requests for proposals (RFPs), obtain supplier quotes, and compile price analysis and bids with focus on substation equipment and materials. • Identify, recommend and execute cost-saving opportunities through alternative materials, suppliers, and processes. Purchasing • Process purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders in accordance with established procedures and project schedules. • Coordinate with suppliers to negotiate the best terms, pricing, delivery, and quality requirements. • Support projects to monitor and provide updates related to delivery schedules updates for equipment and materials, adjusting expected dates in scheduling system in coordination with stakeholders. • Support to track and control purchasing costs to support project budgets. • Collaborate with PGS group to validate material specs approvals, substitutions and replacements when needed. • Support internal reporting by tracking metrics such as cost savings, supplier performance, and delivery reliability. • Occasionally travel to project sites to meet with Logistics and PGS group to understand material and delivery challenges. • Assist in identifying process improvements to support continuous improvement in Supply Chain operations. Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field required. • 2+ years of Supply Chain experience required. • APICS Supply Chain Certification a plus. • Process-oriented mindset. • Proactive and organized with attention to detail • Analytical thinking and problem-solving • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment

    Job Description Dynamic customer-facing role for a motivated individual seeking opportunity to serve as a liaison for customers, vendors and potential customers interested in engaging Strata Solar Services business unit. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Facilitate customer/vendor communication and contribute to relationship management for assigned account portfolio including regular phone calls, on-site visits, site alert notification, and email correspondence. Serve as a key triage point for assigned Customer sites. Estimate costs and quotes associated with service pricing and provide pricing estimates for both SSS, subcontractor, and vendor support. Conduct review of contractual requirements to ascertain whether services are in/out of contract scope Assist in technical review of ongoing projects and equipment outages, performing basic functions of small-scale project management Support collection and documentation of contract information, records, and reports; including but not limited to scope requirements, escalations, extra work orders, guarantees, and warranty support. Contribute to business development activities for add-on scope, extra work, and request for proposal responses (preparation of financial commitments at delegation threshold). Coordinate support across field teams, office personnel, and customers to ensure SSS provides the best solutions possible. Ensure timely response and manage follow up actions for requests. Manage, review, analyze, and produce reports for work order tickets; crew work activities; site performance; customer reporting deliverables; and executive-level reporting. Perform other duties as assigned, including back-up support to Account Managers. Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A Education and/or Work Experience Requirements Education: Minimum: BA/BS or 3-5 years of work experience in related field Experience & Skills: Proficiency with computer and software applications to include but not limited to MS Office Suite, file sharing systems, accounting software systems, and Enterprise Computerized Maintenance Management Systems. Outstanding presentation, reporting, and communication skills Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs Identifiable business skills in synthesizing and simplifying complex information to a variety of audiences Demonstrated skill in identifying the business impact of decisions Proven ability to manage multiple account management projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail Evidence of guidance, mentoring and training of colleagues Demonstrated a commitment to continuous improvement of job methods and processes. Self-starter with ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Other Qualifications: Experience or strong interest in working with utility scale solar or renewable energy projects. Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills. Proven ability to maintain good working relationships with colleagues. Punctual and reliable. Ability to assist with some account items outside of standard business hours when the need arises. Has a valid driver's license, clean driving record and can pass a drug test. Physical Requirements/Work Environment: Work is performed in an office environment and in the field. Must be able to sit, stand, bend, twist and lift up to 20 pounds. May require intermittent travel to customer sites and/or solar plants
