Strategic Operational Solutions, Inc. (STOPSO) is seeking an experienced and versatile professional to take on the role of Proposal Technical Solutions Architect. This position is to bridge the gap between technical solutions and persuasive communication to develop clear, compelling, and compliant proposals that effectively showcase our technical capabilities and solutions to potential clients. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of federal contracting, and will play a key role in designing and developing technical solutions, and articulating them in proposal documents. This role reports into the Strategic Capture & Proposal team and offers the opportunity for a remote or flexible hybrid work environment.
Position Duties and Tasks:
Technical Solution Design and Leadership:
Lead the design and development of thoughtful technical solutions in response to RFP/RFQ requirements, ensuring alignment with client needs and organizational capabilities
Collaborate with technical subject matter experts (SMEs) to conceptualize and document innovative solutions that address complex challenges
Serve as the technical lead during proposal efforts, providing guidance on solution architecture, technology stacks, and integration strategies
Conduct technical risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for proposed solutions
Potential participation and engagement in Government evaluated Orals sessions and/or presentations
Proposal Writing & Development:
Write, edit, and format technical volume of proposals, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance with RFP requirements
Develop content that effectively communicates complex technical concepts and solutions in a way that is accessible to non-technical stakeholders
Tailor content to address client needs, demonstrating a deep understanding of their challenges and how our solutions address them
Develop Basis of Estimate (BOE) and staffing model based on Performance Work Statement (PWS)/Statement of Work (SOW)
Participate in proposal strategy sessions and contribute to the development of win themes, value propositions, and key messaging
Collaboration & Coordination:
A Team Player, working closely with business development/capture managers, proposal managers, and technical SMEs to gather the necessary information for proposal development
Coordinate with proposal managers/graphic designers to ensure that visuals and graphics complement and enhance the written content
Continuous Improvement:
Stay current with industry best practices in proposal writing and technical communication
Provide feedback and suggestions for improving proposal processes, tools, and content quality
Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical discipline or Communications/Business/English Language degree
Three or more years of demonstrable success in a solutions architect role and/or as a proposal technical lead writer
Demonstrated experience and knowledge in the following technical disciplines: cybersecurity, cloud solutions, data analytics, enterprise IT modernization, software development and integration, network engineering and operations, systems engineering, risk management and compliance
Knowledge of the business development lifecycle and Shipley processes
Strong presenter capability and effective written and verbal communication skills
Critical thinker with experience in facilitating strategy, solutions, and storyboard sessions
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and successfully under conditions of multiple efforts, deadlines, and changing priorities
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint
Excellent work ethic, time management, and organizational skills
Ability to work extended hours and/or weekends to meet internal/external deadlines
Must be a U.S. Citizen

Advanced proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office Products and standard applications

Responsibilities
The Systems Analyst will be responsible for using their knowledge of programming languages to design and develop software and accompanying system integrations. This individual should be a team player with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills, experienced in Agile frameworks and popular coding languages.
Support system engineering and architecture efforts.
Gather and assist in the preparation of epics and features based on customer needs.
Analyze and translate to both user stories and development tasks.
Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications
Support data integration, analysis and visualization
Integrate system components and third-party programs at an enterprise level
Verify and deploy programs and systems
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software
Gather and evaluate user feedback
Recommend and execute improvements
Create technical documentation for reference and reporting
Qualifications
Pursuing a major in Engineering, Modeling & Simulation, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Math, Operations Research, Business Administration, or related fields.
Basic proficiency with a variety of data analysis tools, spreadsheets, and database programs.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to compose and write a variety of internal and external documents, reports, and presentations.
Strong interpersonal and listening skills required, with ability to develop and maintain professional relationships within LMI and with its clients.
Ability to contribute to a professional work environment by demonstrating integrity, promoting teamwork, and fostering positive communication.
Strong problem solving, time-management, and organizational skills.
Strong planning skills and the ability to coordinate and prioritize assignments with minimum supervision. Must be self-directed and detail oriented in completing assigned tasks and projects.
