Strategic Planning Analyst Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Manager, Strategy & Business Development, the Planning Analyst, will be responsible for the analysis and reporting of complex financial, clinical, economic, and market data to support effective management and decision-making across the health system, which includes two hospitals, a physician enterprise, a freestanding medical facility and our ambulatory network across the region ("health system"). This position plays a critical role in the health system's strategic planning and business development processes. This position is also responsible for the coordination of the development and maintenance of information used to complete business and financial plans, community benefit and health needs assessments, market research, service line operational planning and health system strategic plan. This position is required to research and develop analytics for strategic and operational planning purposes. This individual functions in a collaborative manner with all health system disciplines to improve outcomes for the community through reduction in total cost of care, improvement in quality of care and patient access dovetailing the health system's strategic and annual planning processes. The Planning Analyst will demonstrate the ability to present information in a concise and effective manner; as well as the ability to work as a team player and collaborate effectively with others. The Planning Analyst will interact with Executive and other senior leaders. The Planning Analyst will exhibit a high level of initiative, accuracy and self-direction.
