Amazon is looking for an Infrastructure Delivery Installation Technician to join our growing team within infrastructure operations. You will work with minimum supervision in a dynamic environment to drive the stability and sustainability of our next-generation networks and assist in the development of innovative ways to automate and scale our network.
To be successful in this role you should possess technical aptitude, written and oral communications skills and the ability to deal effectively with people in a wide variety of situations. In addition, you must possess strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving ability. You will be able to leverage your experience exercising high levels of initiative, judgment, and diplomacy.
Additionally, all candidates should be willing to work both independently and with a team. Work prioritization, organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to react quickly are critical to being successful.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- High school or equivalent diploma

Physical ability to perform all duties noted above under the conditions, circumstances and extreme weather found in (state).
Interest and initiative in maintaining and advancing his/her HVACR skills through a combination of self-study, company training, manufacturers' workshops, and other professional development activities.
Current (state) operator's license and the ability to operate all vehicles in the corporate fleet within 30 days of initial employment. Incumbent must be insurable by current AK Service Inc insurance carrier
Interest, initiative and ability to be trained in low-key point-of-service sales techniques, including developing sales leads, sales of unit replacements, add-on units, IAQ services, and service contracts.

* Troubleshoot and resolve onsite issues related to workstations and printers
* Collaborate with VC3 technical staff as onsite support for connectivity issues including ISPs, wireless networks, DHCP, DNS, and remote access technologies including VPN, RDS and Citrix
* Educate and guide VC3 clients on technical standards and best practices
* Identify recurring issues and initiate problem tickets for them
* Make recommendations to the VC3 team for improvements of supported hardware and software
* Maintain accurate and real time timesheets, record complete and accurate notes of troubleshooting and communication with clients
* Participate in the on-call rotation (1 week every 3-4 months)
* Additional duties as assigned
* Full-time access to a vehicle, a valid driver's license, and no driving restrictions. Business class insurance for the vehicle if residing in Canada
* 2 years of relevant technical experience OR 1 year experience in Service Technician I or II roles at VC3

CMT Engineering Field Technician

NOVA Engineering is seeking full-time a CMT Engineering Field Technician or Special Inspector for NOVA's Kennesaw, GA to work on projects though out the Atlanta metropolitan statistical area (MSA). The individual will be responsible for the following:
* Conduct field testing of soil, concrete, asphalt, aggregate, rebar, and masonry/mortar/grout for compliance with ASTM, AASHTO, DOT, and/or project specifications.
* Review blueprints in preparation of field observations on construction sites.
* Document field activities, observations, and testing results on construction projects, and their conformance with (or deviation from) project plans and specifications.
* Utilize Metafield and/or other field and laboratory information management systems, for recording of testing results.
* Communication of field and laboratory testing results with Construction Services and Geotechnical Project Management staff, general contractors, and clients.
* Calibration of field and laboratory equipment to industry codes and standards.

Qualifications:
* 2+ years of experience in construction materials testing/inspections of soil, concrete, masonry, and/or asphalt materials is required
* ACI certification is required
* ICC certifications in Soils, Reinforced Concrete, and Structural Masonry are preferred
* Ability to routinely lift 40 to 50 lbs. (field/laboratory samples and equipment), is required
* Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (Company will provide Personal Protective Equipment and inclement weather gear, as appropriate)
* Ability to work and maneuver equipment (such as a loaded wheelbarrow) on uneven ground and around active construction sites
* Willingness to travel out-of-town (typically overnight) for short duration assignments
