Job Summary
The Manager Fleet & Transportation Strategy provides strategic leadership for national fleet and transportation operations, overseeing a significant asset base of power units and forklifts. This role is responsible for optimizing the entire logistics network, integrating advanced freight strategy, robust carrier performance management, and comprehensive asset lifecycle planning to deliver efficient, compliant, and world-class order fulfillment. This position is key to driving service level improvements, substantial cost optimization, and supply chain resiliency while ensuring rigorous compliance with DOT, Hazmat, and international trade regulations.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
Develops and executes high-impact transportation and freight strategies across all modes (parcel, LTL, TL, dedicated fleet), focusing on maximizing service levels (NPS) while driving down cost-per-mile.
Manages the entire fleet asset lifecycle for power units and forklifts and trailers plus containers, including data-driven specification, acquisition/lease, utilization optimization, preventive maintenance program oversight, warranty/repairs, and timely remarketing.
Leads high-stakes carrier sourcing and contract negotiations; proactively manage vendor performance to enforce rigorous service level agreements (SLAs), claims processes, and cost control.
Leverages advanced Transportation Management Systems (TMS), telematics, and Business Intelligence (BI) tools to optimize network design, routing, and load planning, improving on-time delivery metrics.
Directs maintenance programs, fuel management, and actively pilot alternative-fuel (Alt-Fuel) and Electric Vehicle (EV) strategies to meet corporate sustainability goals. Leads compliance efforts for all DOT and Hazmat regulations in close partnership with the Safety and the Legal teams.
Defines, publishes, and drives improvement against critical operational and carrier performance KPIs, including uptime, cost/mile, MPG, on-time delivery percentage, and claims ratio analysis.
Develops and manages the transportation and fleet budgets, supports the claims process as needed, and supports the audit freight invoices to ensure financial accuracy and control.
Collaborates strategically with Operations, Sales, Finance, and Compliance teams to align logistics performance with overall business objectives and customer delivery expectations.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field. Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CTP, CSCP) preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
7+ years of progressive experience in fleet operations and freight management, preferably in a national B2B or wholesale distribution environment.
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage a team of direct or functional reports/analysts.
Expert-level negotiation, vendor management, and data-driven analytical skills required.
Deep knowledge of transportation regulations (DOT, FMCSA) and compliance fundamentals, particularly Hazmat and general knowledge about international trade compliance (CTPAT, ACE).
Expert proficiency in Microsoft 365, Enterprise-level TMS (Transportation Management System), telematics platforms, SAP or similar ERP, and BI tools (Tableau/Power BI).

The PositionThe Minot Hot Tots & Honeybees are seeking a Marketing Manager in Minot, North Dakota to lead, support, and grow our marketing efforts across various departments including tickets, sponsorships, merchandise and fan experience. We are looking for a highly motivated, coachable, creative, and professional individual with a passion for creating and developing engaging content and media that will extend the Minot Hot Tot's brand and mission of using FUN to make a difference.
As the Marketing and Media Manager, you will lead the content and marketing strategy, develop creative content through the use of videos, graphics and writing, and manage the content publishing platforms across the website, social media, and other marketing avenues. You'll work closely with all internal departments to build marketing plans and develop storytelling content to accomplish department and team goals.
Roles and Responsibilities
Oversee and organize marketing and advertising campaigns from strategy to execution by working closely with internal departments including but not limited to: tickets, sponsorships, merchandise, events and operations
Develop detailed in-season and off-season fan communication plans through the use of email newsletters, texts, direct mail, etc.
Design marketing materials including but not limited to: social graphics, mailers, flyers, tickets, billboards, etc.
Develop concepts, shoot, edit, and produce video content for multiple different formats, television, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram Reels, ect.
Oversee and manage all media and marketing inventory
Oversee, manage, and update team website, newsletter database, social media platforms and mobile app
Publish daily across team platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok etc.
Measure and review analytics for content and marketing campaigns through Google Analytics, URL trackers, other analytics tools
Continually build and maximize brand awareness through current and new media elements and strategies which include grassroots/community based marketing.
Oversee and maintain media relationships and contracts
Oversee the team's NWL broadcast during each home game on ESPN+ and NWL Network
Write stories, press releases, media advisories and pitch potential story ideas to local media outlets
Oversee and manage team of seasonal media interns
Represent the team at various Hot Tots events and participate in other outside, community events and mascot appearances, as defined by the team
General Team Responsibilities
Game and Team Event Availability: Expected to be available for all Minot Hot Tots & Honeybees home games and team events, this includes weekends and holidays.
Game Day and Event Hours: Expected to be available from mid to late morning through the end of the game and/or event. Schedule will be decided by the direct supervisor on a homestand and event basis.
Non-Game Day/Event Hours: Expected to attend office hours of 8 AM-5 PM each weekday.
Other General Team Responsibilities Might Include:
Assist with ballpark set-up and tear-down before-the-season, after-the-season and during each homestand
Assist with event set-up and tear-down at team events
Help maintain ballpark cleanliness

* .75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;
* 1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;
* 1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and
* Once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay 0% up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
