ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES: + Directs supervisors with respect to sanitation standards, quality, cost and meeting production goals with on time delivery of the floors + Ensures supervisors are completing pre-operational paperwork, includes all daily paperwork required for safety, payroll, and food safety compliance. + Actively participates in group meetings, line meetings, and supervisory meetings + Ensures the department works safely, efficiently, and in compliance with governmental, customer, and company policies and procedures + Trains and develops supervisors to provide management depth and develop teamwork to attain department objectives. + Performs performance evaluations for supervisory roles in sanitation + Works alongside management on implementation and adhering to company policies related to a clean work environment + Understand and adhere to all union regulations in regards to hourly employees + Physical demands of this position may include a great deal of walking and stair climbing + Position available in Fab and kill QUALIFICATIONS: + High School Degree or its Equivalent + General working knowledge of computers/technology (e.g., Microsoft Excel and Word) + Ability to work in work environments with extreme temperature fluctuations. + Alignment with JBS Core Values and company culture + Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, strong people skills + Strong desire to work in a challenging and hands-on environment + Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in sanitation or processing industry EOE/Vet/Disability

Oversees efficiency of monitoring production, scanning make sheet, and discussing daily goals with employees. + Order sheet (make sheet), attends supervisor meetings, and reports work schedule to line workers daily. + Evaluates production of previous day to make necessary adjustments.- Handles any employee grievance, dispute or problem in most efficient manner possible. Any unsolved matter taken up with Superintendent. + Actively participates in group meetings, line meetings, and supervisory meetings. + Check packaging to insure it is labeled properly. + May involve guidance or actual performance of production procedures. + Perform pre-operational procedures to insure equipment is properly sanitized and in working order. + Insure employees have proper safety equipment. + Insure hourly employees are trimming products correctly to minimize product loss. + Work with the Quality control department to insure product quality & food safety. + Daily work tasks are structured. + Job performance is measured by the Superintendent on such criteria as the overall production of the line, quality of paperwork, attendance, attitude and supervision of employees. + Evaluate all newly hired employees during their first month of employment. + Perform follow-up training on hourly employees. + Directly involved in disciplinary procedures with hourly employees. at JBS USA Responsibilities This position ensures all aspects of the maintenance mechanic functions are performed in a safety and acceptable method. Performs preventative maintenance procedures on all equipment that is assigned by the maintenance supervisors/lead hand. Assist other areas of the plant when major problems occur Functional Requirements Completes all assigned tasks scheduled and unscheduled work as directed by supervisor Assist in the day to day operations of the maintenance department.
