POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Dean, the Associate Dean provides leadership and assists in managing operations and instructional programming across various programs within the Applied Technology division. Identify, research, and develop new career education program opportunities. Collaborate with faculty, staff, and departments to achieve goals, ensuring high-quality program delivery and promoting integrity and ethics. Advocates for education accessibility and quality instruction and inspires a student-first culture. Champion college initiatives and provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders. Success in this role requires the individual to achieve targets and other goals and objectives set by the Dean. Collaborate with the Division Dean, faculty, staff, and departments across the college to provide essential resources, information, autonomy, and support needed to achieve results. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Tack weld body frames and rings
Weld body frame, rings, and feet.
Stack rotor laminations onto arbors and weld lams
Blueprint reading and following job specs
Approve and reject raw materials with respect to quality standards and record supplier performance.
Select output and check them using appropriate methods and measuring dimensions, testing functionality, comparing to specifications etc.
Inspect procedures of the entire productions cycle to ensure they are efficient and comply with safety standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to follow established procedures for safety, quality and general assembly.
High school diploma or equivalent required; Higher degree from a technical school is a plus.
Certified welder - MIG, TIG, wire feed, aluminum and steel, preferred

Basic computer literacy, preferred
Effective communication skills, written and verbal communications skills.
Ability to understand the physical and mechanical properties of metal as affected by composition

About the role:
Every day, the donors you meet will motivate you. The high-quality plasma you collect will become life-changing medicines. Here, a commitment to customer service and quality is expected. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and will perform as a plasma donor screener and perform phlebotomy to support plasma center operations.
How you will contribute:
* You will greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor.
* You will perform venipuncture of donors and programming of plasmapheresis machine.
* You will monitor donors during the donation process and manage donor reactions.
* You will perform all tasks required for the setup, verification, operation, and troubleshooting of plasmapheresis equipment within scope of training.
* You will install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on the plasmapheresis machines
* You will stock supplies, break down empty cartons and assist with proper disposal.
* You will take and record donor pulse, blood pressure, and temperature measures and monitor electronic donor questionnaire system.
* You will perform finger sticks, test sample, and record other donor measures to include hematocrit, total protein, and weight.
* You will enter donor information into the Donor Information System (DIS).
* You will coordinate donors to donor floor and compensate donors using the Debit Card system.

Understand the critical components associated and required to achieve intended results and ability to generate consistent approaches for hiring, selection, retaining, and leveraging talent across the department. Assists in the training of new staff members and the development of existing staff members. Trains others on main considerations and issues related to laws and regulations in the implementation of healthcare practices. Collaborate and actively participate in measuring employee performance. Practices positive collaboration and converts difficult interactions into productive ones. Seeks opportunities to help others learn as teacher, coach, and mentor. EDUCATION
