I am a finance executive, board member and advisor who provides oversight and drives financial leadership, tax and treasury management, and technology innovation for high growth businesses including Pinterest and Gilead Sciences. My expertise includes scaling for rapid growth, investment management, board relations, regulatory compliance, forecasting, M&A, credit and business risk. I drive performance and profitability, leading planning processes that result in measurable results that contribute to high growth.

I am currently Chief Revenue Officer at Strava, the social network for athletes. Strava provides motivation to athletes all over the world via our mobile and online apps. I am responsible for our core subscription service, as well as our digital sponsorship business. I also lead our business development team and partnerships globally.

Previously, I was a Partner with Calera Capital, an operationally oriented middle-market private equity firm. I managed investment teams and was involved in numerous successful investments. While at Calera, I established strong partnerships with founders and entrepreneurs and helped them refine and execute their strategies to take their businesses to the next level.

I have extensive experience in the fitness technology sector, and with sports brands, media, and events. I also have deep expertise in financial services.

A seasoned corporate strategist who has served on seven corporate boards (with revenues from $15mm to $600mm), I have been closely involved in a broad variety of business/corporate development and operating initiatives.

With 20 years of investment experience, I have sourced, evaluated, structured and negotiated numerous investments, acquisitions, and partnerships. I have significant capital raising experience from private equity fundraising, growth capital, IPOs, to bank and bond financing.

I am a graduate of Harvard Business School and Harvard College.

Michele Bousquet is a Chief People Officer at Strava and is based in San Francisco Bay Area. She has worked as Chief of Staff and Head of HR, Senior Vice President at Salient; Project Management at RLS The Practical Application of Knowledge; and Sr. Director, Organizational Development at GOPRO INC.. Michele studied at SAN DIEGO STATE UNIVERSITY.
