Position Overview
The Division of Family & Community Services is seeking to hire an energetic and detail-oriented Social Services Career Trainee to receive on the job training for a period of six to twelve months in receiving and assisting customers seeking public assistance services available through Department of Human Services (DHS) programs in the LaSalle Office. + Ability to rotate to a variety of positions within the functional work area.

+ Welding using a Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR).

Your Key Responsibilities
Provide IEP counseling services and social-emotional support
Attend and participate in IEP meetings
Complete IEP documentation and progress reports
Collaborate with school-based special education teams
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Engage with families and community-based supports when appropriate
Participate in staff meetings and contribute to a collaborative school culture
What We're Looking For
Master's degree in Social Work (MSW)
Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker endorsement
Experience in schools or special education is a plus
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a major asset but not required

About the Role
Caterpillar's Leadership and Technical Development Program (LTDP) for Supply Chain Management is a three-year rotational program designed to accelerate development of entry-level talent and provide a solid foundation for meeting challenges within supply chain. Being part of the LTDP team offers you a broad exposure to Caterpillar, presents diverse project responsibilities, engages you in a global team, provides cross-functional job experiences and includes valuable networking opportunities with all levels of Caterpillar leadership. Caterpillar's Supply Chain track is focused on building technical capabilities for managing Supply Chain functions. This opportunity advances your development and training to build future leaders within supply chain. Upon successful completion of the three-year program, Supply Chain professionals will be placed in a role with the expectation of being in that role a minimum of two years.

Professionals within the program will complete three 12-month rotations, which are defined based on business needs. You must be willing to travel and relocate to any participating facility in North America upon hire and throughout each rotation while in the program.
