RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan and implement to ensure all materials, equipment, and inspections support the project schedule
Review construction and contract documents for completeness and constructability
Coordinate plans and specifications with design engineers, resolving discrepancies
Develop and manage project schedules, including three and six-week look-ahead schedules
Develop a site logistics plan

QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or Construction Management, or 10 years trade experience

Proven ability to fulfill all responsibilities for multiple, complex projects
Detail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasks
Possess basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices
Microsoft Office skills at an intermediate level

**The base pay range for this role is $126,300 - $189,500. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Will be responsible for ensuring a safety culture is established on each project within the production functions. Will validate the safety program is being adhered to onsite and additional training is provided if not.
* Will be responsible for ensuring the Superintendents are adhering to the design, construction species and construction methods to produce a quality product.
* Responsible for supporting and establishing BESS Best Methods during the planning and construction stages of the project. * Will work side by side the Superintendents, GF, and Foremen during planning stages, startup and during each project to coach, mentor and develop these individuals for consistency and efficiency.
* Work with each Supt during pre-construction stages to establish equipment plans, labor plans and material plans. Refer and compare back to estimate during this development.
* Develop and update standardized Work Plans and Work Methods used by the company for estimating and work execution. Work with the Chief Estimator to ensure there is a relationship among all estimators and Supt's.
* Support the Site / Construction Manager on each project to ensure adequate and skill sets on the project.
* May at times visit proposed project sites to support Estimating and Business Development.
* Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
* Must have 5-10 years of electrical construction experience.
* Previous utility-scale BESS, substation, high-voltage or related construction management experience required.
* At least 3 years in a Superintendent role.
* Previous experience providing oversight to multiple (3+) projects at one time.
* Previous experience overseeing Union sites.
* Must have a valid driver license and an acceptable motor vehicle driving record (MVR).

With the support of the Quality Control, implement and enforce the Quality Control process; including participating in pre-construction meetings, conducting field observations and inspections, accepting or rejecting subcontractor work as required and scheduling and facilitating field inspections as required
Works collaboratively and utilizes SHE staff as a resource for strategic and tactical implementation of SHE processes and procedures
Participates in CERT and HAZMAT training and EHS teams as required
Leads and/or participates in site Safety Management by Walking Around (SMBWA) Teams
Have complete knowledge of the terms of the Construction Contract and of the construction documents; including the complete drawings (civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical and process systems); specifications; addenda; change documents; and any other pertinent documents
Responsible for maintaining a three-week “look ahead” schedule for weekly Subcontractor meetings. With the support of Construction Managers, coordinates and leads Contractor and Subcontractor field coordination meetings, and takes meeting minutes including designation and execution of action items
Assists, when requested, in the take-off and pricing of proposed changes to the Contract
With the support of Document Control and Project Managers, maintains one complete up-to-date set of the Contract Documents with approved modifications for exclusive use in supervising the work of Subcontractors
Provides technical and field support to the engineering staff, such as field measurements, layout, constructability, maintainability review, and as-built information
Coordinates with the Construction Manager on all scheduled Subcontractor “show-up” and material delivery dates
Assists the Project Manager and/or Construction Manager in determining quantities or percent of work in place for monthly applications for payment
Participates and reports to the Project Management team in regular Owner meetings
Reviews all office correspondence, RFIs, PCOs, etc. Communicates any issues or recommendations for improvement
Responsible for the completion, on a daily basis, of the Daily Construction Report
On a weekly basis, assists with determining quantities for Cost Reports and reviews those quantities with the Construction Manager prior to their submittal to Project Controls

Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field preferred
OSHA 30 required
7+ years of construction experience, semiconductor construction preferred
Semiconductor Tool Install Experience Preferred
Construction and project related experience
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional organization and coordination skills
Must be able to communicate technical material to other technical stake holders and to a non-technical audience
Working knowledge of: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point), Adobe Writer, Visio and basic Windows environment
General working knowledge with BIM, BIM360, BIM Field

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct yourself in a professional, positive, and courteous manner at all times.
Participate in all project-related meetings including the pre-construction meeting, the weekly project progress meetings, and the final project walk-through as requested.
Review and thoroughly understand all aspects of the project scope, details, job site condition, and the client responsibilities and expectations. Read and understand all paperwork throughout the course of the project as well as update as requested.
Identifies any constructability conflicts and offers resolutions /revision options as appropriate.
Collaborate with the Project Manager and Selections Coordinator any changes or updates made during client meetings.
Carefully tracks the baseline project schedule and schedules trades, deliveries, templates, and in house carpenters.
Reviews and understands the scope and terms and conditions of all purchase orders issued for the project.
Manages field level communications and information, sharing among all relevant parties, utilizing Builder Trend.
Executes all approved change orders
Collaborates with the Project Manager and carpenters on assigned projects ensuring the construction schedule and budget expectations are met or exceeded.
Oversees and assists the in-house carpenters and Laborers in performing their typical day to day construction tasks.
Monitors daily communications between the Project Manager and Clients directly related to onsite activity, schedules, and other concerns; ensures prompt, accurate and appropriate responses are given to the client.
Respect the client and their property ensuring that team members and sub-contractors do not use any client belongings including equipment, tools, phone, or cleaning supplies;
o Making sure you and all employees do not smoke anywhere on the job-site property

Provide feedback on performance of field employees to Project Manager on a regular and requested basis.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma. Additional training within or directly related to the construction management field is highly desired.
At least 2 years of comparable construction superintendent experience or at least 3 years of progressive experience in carpentry with some supervisory responsibility overseeing the work of Trade Partners. Clear understanding of all phases and elements of residential remodeling and construction procedures.
Motivated, self-starter, detail oriented, highly organized, analytical ability with a positive, can-do attitude.
Residential remodeling experience including layout of foundations, framing, cabinets, interior finish packages, and effectively managing subcontractors.
Ability to interact and communicate well with clients, team members, vendors, and specialty trade contractors. Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language.
Rough carpentry experience including layout knowledge of foundations, rafters and stairs.
Finish carpentry experience including trim, cabinetry installation, and interior finishes.
Good working knowledge of all related building trades.
Ability to interact and communicate well with clients, team members, vendors, and specialty trade contractors.
Solid, thorough understanding of and ability to consistently follow construction documents (plans and specifications).
Computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Builder Trend and the internet
Maintain a valid drivers license and state required insurance.
