Job Summary
Manages all shift and ongoing activities related to warehouse and develops company personnel by performing the duties listed below, or through subordinates as directed by the Cargo Contract Manager/MOD. Must understand the operational contract obligations to our customer(s), and be literate with all computer systems related to the contracted operation. Must be well versed in all aspects of international cargo handling; warehouse buildup and breakdown, with a firm understanding of all associated regulatory concerns, and customs documentation. Must be able to perform job functions of subordinates, as dictated by circumstances. Regularly reviews personnel and operating activities, directing the resolution of related difficulties. Routinely determines responsibilities of assigned staff positions to accomplish daily operational objectives. Leads, directs, and motivates employee workforce by means of basic management skill sets; including, but not limited to employee coaching, progressive discipline, and effective WFS management teamwork.
Trains and ensures all assigned employees are aware of and comply with company and customer policies and procedures. Provide ‘On the Job' (OJT), customer, and recurrent regulatory training as required. Observe and enforce all WFS and government safety policies, regulations and directives. Hold all subordinate employees accountable for failure to follow all policies, regulation and directives. Observe and enforce all WFS and government security policies, regulations and directives. Maintain and control all required aspects of the operation in accordance with the corporate security program and TSA legislation.
Ensure that the required company audit requirements are undertaken to ensure continuity and compliance at all times. Read, understand and clarify the implementation of the site-specific security plan and ensure that all WFS staff are issued with a relevant company ID and that they are required to display this identity badge. Coordinates operations activities with all other functions of the organization to provide optimum services to our customers. Must understand the principle of aircraft weight and balance/load planning. Familiarity with security mandates generated from the following agencies is required; Transportation Safety Administration, Federal Aviation Administration, Local Airport Authority and U.S. Customs & Border Patrol.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret WFS Employee Handbook, WFS Supervisors Manual, applicable union contract, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical, procedures, or governmental regulations, airline policy and procedures manuals.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups or managers, clients, and customers.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Minimum Requirements
Two to five years previous management/specialist supervisory experience in field service duties dependent judgment and decision-making skills required.
College degree or equivalent experience.
Excellent interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills.
Familiarity with personal computer software helpful.
Airline pricing experience.
Preferred Skills
Must be able to work weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), In holidays and days off.
Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language

QUALIFICATIONS
18 years of age or older
Eligible to work in the United States
Must have a valid state-issued driver's license with an acceptable driving record

What you will be doing:
Coordinates daily activities within the distribution center
Supervises staff and directs work as they execute activities related to order fulfillment, order management, inventory management, stocking, material handling, equipment usage, and related needs
Prepares work schedules and reacts quickly and effectively regarding unexpected labor needs
Manages labor hours and payroll in electronic timekeeping system
Interviews and trains prospective and new team members
Supervises business support staff development including appraising performance, rewarding employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
Ensures team understands and works toward performance goals
Recommends process improvements within the warehouse or distribution center
Reviews records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures, and to determine adequacy of stock levels
Ensures compliance to all company and customer policies and procedures including safety
Schedules work for special and periodic inventories
Traces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies
Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and ISO9002 procedures
Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of team.
Prepares reports for leadership
Assists in maintaining the physical properties of the warehouse
Submits weekly, monthly and other special services billing to customer services representatives
Supervises employees in distribution center operation in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
Other duties as required and assigned

Requirements
High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalent
Minimum 3 to 5 years related warehouse and/or distribution center experience
1 year of supervisory experience preferred

Experience with warehouse management systems
Experience with labor management systems
PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

Seasonal Snow Removal Crew & Subcontractors - Multiple Positions Available
GroundSystems is seeking dependable and experienced individuals and subcontractors to join our Seasonal Snow Operations Team in the Dayton area. Help us deliver high-quality, efficient snow and ice removal services during the winter season.
We offer both direct-hire seasonal positions using company equipment and subcontractor opportunities for those with their own equipment
Subcontractor Positions (Use your equipment):
Plow Truck Operator - Up to $110/hr
Plow & Salt Combo (P/S Combo) - Up to $130/hr
Skid Loader Operator - Up to $130/hr
Loader Operator - Up to $275/hr
Sidewalk Snow Removal Crew - Up to $45/hr
(must provide transportation and crew)
Snow Equipment Operator - Up to $50/hr
(e.g., your own skid steers, backhoes - part-time/seasonal)
CDL Snow Truck Driver - Up to $50/hr
(must meet insurance requirements)
Responsibilities:
Clear snow and ice from sidewalks, parking lots, and other areas
Operate snow removal equipment (Skid Steer, Backhoe, Loader, Plow Truck, UTVs, etc.)
Apply deicing materials using machines, trucks, or manually
Maintain and clean trucks and equipment as needed
Follow all company and safety guidelines on every site.
Requirements:
Must be 18+ and eligible to work in the U.S.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in winter conditions
Must understand and speak basic English
Must follow all safety guidelines and wear PPE
Available 24/7 (including holidays) during snow events and able to arrive on-site within 1 hour of dispatch
Must use our TimeScape App to log hours, track site activity, and submit required documentation
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record (applies to Seasonal Employee positions)
