Our StrongHer Youth Program empowers middle and high school girls through strength & conditioning, performance training, and confidence-building both inside and outside the gym.
We're looking for a Youth Female Athlete Coach to join our team for evening sessions (starting at 3 PM).
Who You Are
You're not just a trainer-you're a coach who understands the unique needs of youth female athletes. You know how to balance challenge with encouragement, and you're passionate about teaching proper movement, strength, and confidence that carries beyond the gym.
You've coached athletes before-whether in strength training, performance, or sports conditioning-and you can command a group while keeping it fun and safe.
You connect easily with teens and know how to meet them where they are while holding high standards.
You're certified (strength & conditioning, performance, or youth-specific certifications preferred) and always looking to learn more.

What You'll Own
Coach middle and high school female athletes in a semi-private setting (2-6 athletes per session).
Teach proper lifting technique, speed, agility, mobility, and conditioning drills.
Create an environment that emphasizes confidence, resilience, and teamwork.
Provide safe progressions and regressions for varying skill and experience levels.
Track athlete progress and communicate with parents on performance and development.
Collaborate with the coaching team to support seasonal progressions (in/off-season).
What We're Looking For
A passion for working with youth female athletes.
Strong communication and motivational skills with both athletes and parents.
Required Certifications/Specializations:
Strength & Conditioning (e.g., NSCA-CSCS, NASM PES, or equivalent).
Youth Fitness or Youth S&C specialization (e.g., NASM Youth Exercise Specialist, IYCA, or equivalent).
Current CPR/AED certification.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of coaching in athletic performance, group training, or personal training (youth-specific experience preferred).

Garfield Heights City Schools is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Assistant Track & Field Coach to support the high school track & field program. The Assistant Coach will work closely with the Varsity Head Coach to train student-athletes across various events, promote sportsmanship and teamwork, and uphold district and OHSAA standards. Key Responsibilities:
Mentorship & Athlete Development: Support student-athletes through skill instruction, encouragement, and individualized development across sprints, distance, jumps, throws, or relays (based on assignment).
Program Support: Assist the Head Coach in implementing a comprehensive track & field program that emphasizes fundamentals, proper technique, and competitive readiness.

Qualifications:
Valid Pupil Activity Permit with the Ohio Department of Education
Satisfactory BCI/FBI background checks

Otterbein University is in search of an Assistant Football Coach - Offensive Coordinator. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. This role will have primary responsibility over the Offense. In addition, the role will assist the Head Football Coach by performing the following duties:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
* Assists the Head Football Coach in conducting a successful intercollegiate football program, ensuring that the program provides positive athletics experience while promoting sportsmanship for its participants, enhances campus life and operate within University, NCAA and OAC conference regulations. Assists the head coach with the daily competitive operation of the football program including but not limited to: teaching sport related skills and strategies, conducting film study, observing student-athletes during practice and games, and preparing practice plans. In addition, this individual will assist with ensuring and monitoring the academic success of the football student-athletes.
* Assists in the attraction and retention of student-athletes while promoting a diverse campus environment. Evaluate talent and communicate with high school coaches and prospective student-athletes on the benefits of Otterbein University, while monitoring their progress through the admission process.
* Assist with the supervision and coordination of strength and conditioning programs as directed by the head coach. Participates in the planning and monitoring of such activities, including equipment and facility supervision.
* Must be able to transport teams via van if necessary. Online testing required through institution.
* Responsible for working with the athletic trainers and team physicians for the medical well-being and protection of the student-athlete during preseason, regular season and post season activities; each athlete must receive a medical evaluation prior to participation; athletic training hours will be posted for preventative care and rehabilitation; emergency procedures must be reviewed, established and followed for practice and competition.
* Responsible for the personal conduct of self as well as student-athletes and any others associated with the program. Must be familiar with the Otterbein University Student Code of Conduct and the Student Athlete Handbook and manage to the standards of good conduct and image that will reflect positively on the sport program, the Athletics department and Otterbein University. In addition, the promotion of a diverse and inclusive culture throughout the team, Athletics program, and University is essential.
* Any additional administrative assignment will be assigned at the discretion of the Director of Athletics.
