The Project Controls Specialist will lead project controls with a high level of experience in cost tracking, forecasting, and scheduling (emphasis on scheduling).
Responsibilities:
Support both the project team and business unit, including Vice Presidents, Directors, Project Managers, Estimators, Project Coordinators, Construction Managers, Superintendents, and Foreman on a project controls basis.
Work with estimating and the project team to establish the project budget, including hours, dollars, and quantities.
Produce a baseline schedule, understanding the sequence of work, and provide schedule updates on a weekly basis utilizing Microsoft project. Primavera P6 and Resource Loading is considered a plus. Emphasis on scheduling.
Set-up progress tracking and utilize completed quantities and earned value to capture percent complete. The ability to interpret drawings, such as P&IDs, Orthographics, Isometrics, etc. is a plus.
Lead cost and productivity review meetings with the project team on a weekly and monthly basis.
Communicate hours, cost, schedule, and productivity variances, including over / under billings. Ability to generate and maintain a cash flow curve is considered a plus.
Manage the project controls functions for multiple projects, including cost forecasting, scheduling, progress and productivity tracking, and risk.
Understand the project Scope of Work and have the ability to recognize change, and to ensure in is capture via the Change Order Management process.
Analyze project controls metrics and provide guidance to the project and senior management teams.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Prepare monthly project status reports.
Utilize Microsoft office tools to organize data into presentation format.
Perform other duties as needed for estimating, project management, and / or senior management.
Experience:
Experience working in project controls.
Experience putting together detailed reports and/or charts showing costs to date, schedule and cost variance, and earned value reporting.
Experience in the oil and gas industry preferred.
Education/Training:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, Business, or relevant fields. A minimum of 5 years of experience in program / project management work will be considered a substitute for the degree requirement.
Project Management Professional certification is a plus.
Competencies:
Proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and Outlook. Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Power BI is a plus.

Primary Purpose

Manage procurement/supply chain contract negotiations, including substantial day-to-day negotiating responsibilities for a wide range of agreements, including master service agreements, project agreements, purchase orders, work orders, confidentiality agreements, licensing agreements, equipment rental agreements, purchasing agreements, and purchase order terms and conditions.

Provide legal counsel, contract drafting, and negotiation for management in a variety of legal areas including all manner of third-party contracts, risk management, construction law and liens, real estate law, employment law, commercial disputes, and a wide range of corporate and commercial matters.
Perform all other assignments and projects as requested by the company.
Experience:
Required experience in the EPC construction or similar field; Supply chain / Subcontractor / Supplier / Vendor agreements.
Comfort with multi-level organizational leadership, managing external partners and resources, working across multiple departments, and working with senior management.

The Sr. Project Controls Analyst is responsible for analyzing and reporting on project controls for Strike's construction and maintenance projects to include project planning, scheduling, cost estimating, cost tracking, and quality review. Primary Job Function:
Collaborate closely with Project Controls, Project Managers, Engineers, Procurement, and Construction teams to understand reporting needs and provide data-driven insights.
Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, incorporating advanced Power Query and data modeling techniques.
Build and maintain Excel models, including Pivot Tables, VBA macros, and financial modeling for forecasting and cost control.
Analyze project performance data (e.g., WIP, cost variance, schedule variance) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
