We are seeking a visionary Director of ProductManagement to lead the charge in transforming Mailchimp into an AI-powered, omnichannel marketing platform. This isn't just a job; it's a chance to solve the single largest challenge small and mid-market businesses (SMBs) face: getting customers to grow their business.
Today's marketers face a complex landscape. Customers no longer follow a linear path; they engage across numerous online and offline touchpoints and expect a seamless, personalized experience. This has forced marketers to adopt increasingly complex tactics, resulting in 3x the number of touchpoints needed to drive a purchase compared to a decade ago. While 82% of SMBs know that using multiple channels yields better results, only 16% are confident they are using the right ones.
This is where you come in. You will architect the future of how millions of businesses connect with their customers, transforming their marketing complexity into a powerful driver of growth and loyalty. If you are a product leader obsessed with leveraging deep martech expertise to solve real-world problems and deliver world-class, data-driven user experiences, we want to hear from you. What You'll Do This is a high-impact role where you will own the end-to-end product strategy and execution for Mailchimp's Omnichannel Experiences.
**Responsibilities**
+ Architect the Vision: Develop and champion a clear strategy for an integrated omnichannel platform. Your vision will define how we deliver easy and AI-powered "done-for-you" experiences that help customers orchestrate personalized marketing campaigns that optimize their business outcomes.
+ Solve Core Customer Problems: Go deep on the strategic and tactical challenges our customers face-from choosing which channels to prioritize and how to optimize their marketing mix, to overcoming the operational hurdles of executing cohesive campaigns.
+ Drive Execution and Deliver Value: Oversee the product lifecycle to improve our core marketing channels and expand into new ones most valued by our customers. You will deliver tangible value through AI-powered recommendations, automated workflows, and time-saving experiences that simplify marketing execution and drive growth.
+ Leverage Intuit's Data Advantage: Capitalize on Intuit's unique ability to connect marketing and financial data. You will drive initiatives that help businesses understand the true ROI of their marketing efforts and make smarter growth decisions with insights derived from combining marketing engagement with financial data from across the Intuit ecosystem.
+ Champion a Unified Experience: While this role does not directly own the underlying marketing data platform (CDP, reporting, segmentation), you will be its most critical partner. You will be responsible for deep collaboration and pushing the requirements necessary to ensure the data platform team delivers the foundational capabilities needed for a world-class omnichannel product.
+ Lead and Inspire: Lead, mentor, and grow a talented team of productmanagers, fostering a culture of innovation, customer-centricity, data-informed decision-making, and deep accountability.
+ Collaborate to Win Across Intuit: Partner seamlessly with your immediate design, engineering, data science, and go-to-market (GTM) teams within Mailchimp, as well as with broader teams across the Intuit ecosystem. This includes collaborating with partners in the Global Business Solutions Group (GBSG) and other brands like QuickBooks to deliver integrated solutions that address the distinct needs of our key customer segments and align with Intuit's broader platform vision.
**Qualifications**
+ 15-20+ years of productmanagement experience, with at least 5+ years focused on building marketing platforms, interfaces, or customer experiences at scale.
+ 10+ years of experience leading and managing a team of high-performing productmanagers.
+ A proven track record of developing and executing successful product strategies that drove significant customer engagement and business growth.
+ Deep understanding of the MarTech landscape, including platform ecosystems, technologies, and best practices for omnichannel marketing.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to use data to inform decisions, identify market opportunities, and optimize for growth.
+ A broad operating range, with the ability to connect a big-picture, business-driving strategic vision to the critical details of the end-to-end customer experience and product quality.
+ Bar-raising leadership that elevates the product function by improving team performance, operational mechanisms, and the quality of cross-functional communication and execution.
+ A demonstrated ability to work through ambiguity, bringing structure, clarity of direction, and a clear path forward to complex problem domains.
+ Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities, capable of articulating complex product concepts to diverse audiences, from engineers to executives.
+ Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of a global organization.
+ A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; an MBA or advanced degree is a bonus. Equivalent experience will be considered.
