About the team The Global GTM Operations team is responsible for overall productivity and effectiveness of the sales organization, partnering closely with the sales team and teams across Stripe to drive initiatives. The Sales Strategy and Operations function at Stripe plays a crucial role in the success of our sales organization. What you'll do We are seeking a technically sophisticated and detailed oriented individual who will serve as a Sales Strategy and Operations Data Analyst in support of both the AMER and Global Platform business. This person will be responsible for improving the quality of sales analytics and insights, including standardization of reporting and scalability across segments and regions with the primary objective of enabling sales, product, and other GTM leadership to make effective, analytically driven decisions. You will work with Sales and Product Leadership and global Platform Sales Operations business partners to drive the operational cadence and strategy/planning of the business. Responsibilities Operating Cadence: Execute on a standard weekly, monthly and quarterly cadence of operations (weekly forecasting calls, monthly business reviews, quarterly business reviews) Business Insights: Develop a deep understanding of Stripe's Platform business and its sales funnel across user segments and geographies. Monitor the progress, health, and sustainability of the overall strategy. Provide actionable insight and strategic perspective on business performance to help inform key decisions across GTM teams. Effectively communicate insights and recommendations to business leads and influence strategic decision-making Strategy / Planning: Analyze sales and revenue data and other metrics to build models and provide actionable recommendations to shape the strategy during the annual planning process (resource planning, territory design, target/quota setting and management) Program and Process Management: Independently develop and manage project or program plans to support asks from key stakeholder and core operational planning processes. Manage Platform wide operational processes and programs including but not limited to sales territory development Scalable Insight: Conceptualize, build, manage and maintain centralized tools (including spreadsheet models, dashboards) that the business and Sales Strategy and Operations team can use to extract data / insights for daily business management in an automated manner to drive current and future rhythms of business. As a result of insights, identify and improve the usability and accessibility of insights from existing systems and tools, in collaboration with respective development teams Who you are We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. What you'll do: * Serve as a strategic and analytical business partner to Global Sales Operations leadership. * Partner with sales leaders and sales operations teammates to analyze go-to-market strategies, resource allocation, and performance at all levels. * Assist in the strategic planning efforts for global sales, which include plan modeling, quota assignments, and segmentation. * Take part in leading the operational cadence of all key sales operation activities including forecasting, quarterly business reviews and operational metric reviews. * Proactively identify opportunities for accelerating growth through new processes, sales plays, strategies, cross-functional initiatives, SPIFFs, etc. * Create and maintain detailed models to support both short- and long-term strategic planning for Tanium's growth initiatives. * Develop relationships and communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders. We're looking for someone with: * A Bachelor's Degree, preferably in business or a related field (e.g. Business Management, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Communications). * 2+ years of experience in an analytical role in Sales Operations, Business Operations, Consulting, Finance or other related field(s). * Business partnership experience with executives * Strong presentation and modeling skills * Proficiency in Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, and Google Slides required * Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to executives and large groups Nice to Have Qualifications: * Experience working within a high-growth, technology company * Experience partnering directly with leaders at the VP level or above * Proficiency in Periscope, Tableau, PowerBI, or similar visualization tools. #LI-HB1 About Tanium Tanium delivers the industry's only true real-time cloud-based endpoint management and security offering. What you'll get The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $55,000 to $160,000. This range is an estimate for what Tanium will pay a new hire.
