About the team
The Global Payments Performance Team are Stripe's foremost payments experts, identifying payment optimization opportunities for Stripe's users. What you'll do
Data and Insights exists within the Global Payments Performance team and is responsible for data & tooling used by the team and our stakeholders. You will be instrumental in scaling the subject matter expertise of the team's payments domain experts - building datasets and tools that enable Stripes to deliver tailored, expert level content to their customers.
Responsibilities
Develop analytics products, dashboards, and tools that GTM leverages to deliver expert level payment optimization sessions to Stripe customers.
Maintain analytics assets owned by the team, such as metric definitions, technical documentation and query banks.
Build data pipelines that power our user insights.

Job Summary

Your Experience
7 plus years experience building and maintain data pipeline both for reporting, analysis and feature engineering.

Prior experience working extensively within dynamic cloud environments, specifically Google Cloud Services (GCS) BigQuery and Vertex AI.

This is a highly strategic and cross-functional leadership role, reporting to our Global Head of A&C Programs. You will be the single-threaded owner responsible for taking our new channel strategy from a validated concept to a fully operational, revenue-generating global program. About the team
Our internship program will provide an opportunity to work on meaningful products that will grow the GDP of the internet. Through the internship, you will work with many systems and technologies, gain experience in systems design and testing, and have opportunities to present your work to your team and the wider org. Each intern has a dedicated intern manager, and every project is part of the team's roadmap and will directly help Stripe's mission.
What you'll do
Every internship at Stripe centers around a real, legitimate project that our customers urgently need, touching many parts of our operations and stack. We will support you in shipping it. Yes, you will actually ship it. Some recent projects include rebuilding our statistics aggregation service, building new service discovery systems, and many user facing projects like making it easy to understand error messages on Stripe Checkout. As a Stripe intern, you'll be tackling important projects to increase global commerce, while working alongside exceptional people who insist on doing their best work. You'll learn from people with high standards who are great at inspiring others to do more and go further. Responsibilities
Write software that will be used in production, and has meaningful impact to Stripe
Give and receive technical feedback through code reviews or design discussions
Collaborate with other engineers and cross-functional stakeholders to proactively seek and incorporate feedback
Learn quickly by asking great questions, by working with your intern manager and teammates effectively, and by communicating the status of your work clearly

Minimum requirements
A strong fundamental understanding of computer science through pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, math, or a related discipline
Some experience and familiarity with programming, either through side projects or classwork. We work mostly in Java, Ruby, JavaScript, Scala, and Go. We believe new programming languages can be learned if the fundamentals and general knowledge are present
Experience from previous internships or other multi-person projects, including open source contributions, that demonstrate evaluating and receiving feedback from mentors, peers, and stakeholders
Ability to learn unfamiliar systems and form an understanding of those systems, through independent research and working with a mentor and subject matter experts
Preferred qualifications
At least 2 years of university education, or equivalent work experience
One or more areas of specialized knowledge balanced with general skills and knowledge, such as knowing more frontend technologies and, at a high level, how a service handles an HTTP request
Understanding and some experience writing high quality pull requests, with good test coverage, and working knowledge to complete projects with minimal defects
Familiarity with navigating and managing your work in new code bases, with multiple languages
Ability to write clearly to explain your work to stakeholders, team members, and other Stripes

**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly strategic, hands-on, customer-obsessed senior insights leader to lead our Brand and Consumer Insights function. You will be a full-stack insights builder and partner to the Brand Center of Excellence who redefines how our clients harness LinkedIn and how our internal teams partner cross-functionally as well as the Consumer Marketing team who shapes how LinkedIn shows up for our members, helping them navigate their career, and finding jobs.
**About the Team**
As a part of the newly created Market Insights & Marketing Strategy function, Market Insights team is the research and insights CoE that enables LinkedIn Marketing to make confident, audience-centric, data-driven decisions that drive growth and impact across marketing's highest priorities. We create deep audience understanding, deliver well-synthesized and actionable insights from research and other data sources, utilize intelligent technology, and operate as a full-stack strategic partner to deliver (insert marketing's mission here).
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Lead Insight Development: Identify key business opportunities and develop insights roadmap in collaboration with Small Business marketing leadership and cross functional partners. .
+ Drive Strategic Alignment: Frame strategic decisions, facilitate alignment across teams, and ensure marketing is set up to succeed through insight-driven approach.
+ Execute Research: Design and conduct qualitative and quantitative research to inform marketing strategy, brand development, and go-to-market planning.
+ Synthesize & Translate Insights: Integrate findings from multiple sources (primary research, behavioral data, market trends) into clear, actionable recommendations.
+ Influence & Communicate: Deliver compelling insights that inspire action across Small Business Marketing and executive teams. Ensure insights are embedded into decision-making processes.
+ Commercialize Insights: Partner closely with the marketing team to ensure insights are not only understood but also applied to drive measurable business outcomes.
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ 12+ years of experience in market research, consumer insights, strategy, or related fields.
+ 5+ years in a leadership role, leading teams and driving cross-functional influence at a senior level in highly complex matrix organizations
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Proven expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
+ Strong track record of influencing marketing strategy and product development through insights with strong focus on Small Business customers
+ Experience synthesizing diverse data sources into cohesive, actionable narratives.
+ Exceptional communication and storytelling skills.
+ Strategic thinker with a pragmatic, logical approach to problem-solving.
+ Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
+ Background in management consulting or boutique marketing/insights-based consulting firms strongly preferred.

The pay range for this role is $179,000-$280,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
