Sam L. Susser has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the general partner of Susser Petroleum Partners LP since its initial public offering in in 2012. Mr. Susser also serves as President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Susser Holdings Corporation. Prior to founding the Southguard Corporation (the predecessor to Susser Holdings) in 1988, Mr. Susser spent 1985 to 1987 with Salomon Brothers Inc. in New York City and in Dallas in the corporate finance division and the mergers and acquisitions group. He received a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin in 1985.

Pros of working at Susser Holdings

The team What is the most substantial part of what I was included in. It was four of us in charge a verifying fuel prices in at all Ising sales and gallons on a daily basis.

There was a lot of politics within the corporate setting of this building. At times I felt the hours are running long until 5 PM. I’m not much of an 8 to 5 person
