A Day in the Life:

Skills & Requirements:
Preferred Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) with a valid license in New Jersey (but not required based on experience).
Preferred Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology or equivalent from an accredited program.
Previous experience in a veterinary emergency, critical care, or specialty hospital is a plus.
Strong knowledge of veterinary practices, procedures, and terminology.
Ability to handle and restrain animals compassionately, especially those exhibiting fear or stress.
Proficiency in multitasking and working well under pressure.
Physical capability to lift and restrain animals of varying sizes.
