Prepare geotechnical engineering designs involving:

Geotechnical field instrumentation
Soil reinforcement and ground improvement techniques (CMCs, compaction grouting, stone columns)

Shallow and deep foundations (spread footings, driven piles, augered cast-in-place piles, helical piles, micropiles, drilled shafts).
Develop subsurface investigations, monitoring programs, and coordinate geologic site characterization for a variety of facilities mentioned above
Installations of geotechnical field instrumentation
Selection of samples for laboratory testing.
Prepare proposals, budgets, schedules, calculations, specifications and reports.
Geotechnical Investigation and Construction Support Services including, but not limited to:
Test boring monitoring and logging
Site reconnaissance
Foundation and retaining structure construction monitoring and inspection.
The individual will be responsible for interpreting specifications and construction drawings, evaluating site conditions based on construction excavations, monitoring and reporting on construction activities, and performing field testing of soils.
