If you heard the first oral history episode, you know that Structure Tone is STO Building Group ‘s legacy brand, and it all started in New York City in 1971.
Marino decided to further invest in the company’s future by acquiring Vinmar construction in 1973,
You know, a lot of us came right out of college, you know? So, in the early days, for me, it wasn’t that early because my Father joined the company in 1977.
And my first experience working part-time was 1982.
So, my first project with Structure Tone in the summer of 1985 was for Newsweek magazine.
Scott Corneby, executive vice president, remembers what it was like when he started in 1985.

National 1996 National Structure Tone Boston lands its first project with Fidelity Investments, leading to a 20-year partnership with over 2,000 projects in 39 states and 3 countries.

LF Driscoll 2009 LF Driscoll Philadelphia-based LF Driscoll, a leading healthcare builder, joins the Structure Tone organization, marking the company’s entry into the healthcare market.
