Pros of working at Stryker

I enjoyed the atmosphere of this company. The people I worked with were great, the pay was fair, and I enjoyed my job in the marketing and event coordinating department.

Cons of working at Stryker

I hated the way upper management handled promotions. They would often bring people in from other departments who had no clue what it is we did, versus hiring from our department where there were several people who were more than qualified for the position. For example. The 27 year old guy from HR, the guy from Dallas who was in communications, the gal from R and D.you see my point. This happened repeatedly in the last 4 years I was there, and it was what prompted me to quit.

Stryker benefits

Bonuses were decent and vacation time was very fair. I did have a corporate AMEX and a company paid iPhone - always had the newest model available.
