Basic Responsibilities
Responsible for the on-site physical installation, functional testing, and quality inspection of surgical light suspensions, surgical booms, video integration systems, and other ancillary equipment (room cameras, video monitors, video signals, etc.). Partner with internal teams including sales, project engineering, project management, field service and external teams including electricians, plumbers, general contractors and perioperative hospital staff.
This role requires 100% travel, Monday- Friday.
Responsibilities
Confirms site readiness of pre-installation requirements and infrastructure and performs detailed product inventory of installable equipment. Communicates issues to internal project team and follows up for resolution.
Responsible for the installation of all surgical light suspension systems, surgical booms, video integration systems and associated cabling to deliver appropriate video signals as well as installation of ancillary equipment (room cameras, video monitors, etc.) in accordance with quality and safety standards as well as state, industry, and international standards.
Programs, tests, and inspects all video integration sources according to design specifications and in accordance with quality and safety standards.
Performs all functional and quality checks of installable equipment and documents appropriately prior to project sign-off.
Able to troubleshoot and determine root cause of failures of installable equipment. Performs diagnoses and repairs of equipment according to established quality guidelines and procedures. Tests equipment to ensure proper operation and quality output.
Documents & Maintains accurate records of equipment installation and associated activities.
Completes daily update reports and other administrative responsibilities in a timely and accurate manner. Provides project updates to relevant stakeholders. Coordinates with Quality to ensure compliance with regulatory and operational requirements.
Able to interpret, understand, and install equipment according to complex wire diagrams and CAD drawings. Able to understand infrastructure, electrical, and network requirements of installable equipment. Coordinates with internal project team to communicate these expectations with customers and contractors and coordinates requisite support.
Able to learn and understand basic Internet Protocol (IP) and computer networking requirements as related to Stryker integration products.
Able to understand and implement identical installation and integration practices at different locations in order to ensure consistency and serviceability.
Coordinates and books travel arrangements for self, based on job location and in accordance with company guidance. Manages daily schedule to ensure timely arrival and completion of all Installation activities.
Maintains project stakeholder relationships, communicates progress updates, and provides basic operational training to customers as needed.
Manages and maintains inventory of assigned tools and equipment.
Maintains accurate records of installation tasks.
Responds to internal and external customers inquiries and request for service. Communicates with customers regarding the status of their project and provides clear and timely updates on project progress.
Effectively builds relationships with internal and external business partners to provide outstanding customer service experience. Communicates lessons learned and provides feedback to cross-functional partners to improve business processes.
Adheres to all safety policies and standards as dictated by customer facilities and by Stryker.
Completes training to ensure proper PPE is utilized during execution of job responsibilities.
Advocates the importance of safe work practices.
Physical requirements
Heavy work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
Must be able to utilize equipment including ladders, chain hoists, material lifts, and pallet jacks.
Must be able to climb ladders, work within confined spaces, and above ceiling.
Must have near visual acuity (corrected) color vision, mobility, bending, standing, stooping, and finger dexterity.
Must be able to communicate effectively with intrapersonal communication skills.
Must be able to communicate effectively via cell phone, text, and email.
Must be able to travel via commercial airline.
Must maintain state issued Driver's License and be able to safely operate a motor vehicle.
Ability to work with large pieces of construction and medical equipment.

Ability to interact appropriately with a variety of individuals including customers and internal partners
Ability to read, navigate, and comprehend installation and technical manuals and project documents with acute attention to detail.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Skills/Experience
0 - 2 years related technical experience (telecom, video/audio system installation, electrical/construction, medical device, hospital biomed)
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
Excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills
Demonstrates a professional work ethic and attitude.
Intermediate PC skills and appropriate application skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to operate small hand tools (e.g. pliers, screwdrivers, hammer, wrenches, strippers, crimpers, etc.), power tools, and test equipment (e.g. data loggers, strip recorders, micrometers, voltmeters, waveform/vectorsopes, etc.).
Education/training required
Bachelor's degree (B. S or B.A) preferred but not .

$28.01 - $38.75 per hour plus bonus eligible + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

What You'll Work On

Job Description
Under the supervision of the Regional Manager and working within the Western Pennsylvania/Cumberland, MD area, the Part-Time Field Services Representative (25 hours per week) is responsible for the on-going support of the Medline ReNewal Reprocessing Program to pack and ship designated medical devices as well as execute any other tasks as agreed to with the facility. This individual will deliver prompt and excellent service to maintain and grow the program through job functions which include, but are not limited to, the following:
Essential Functions:
Establish and follow a regular schedule to visit the assigned facility in order to collect devices in the designated containers
Coordinate the packing of devices in Medline ReNewal shipping containers (employing proper techniques to ensure safe shipment of product)
Arrange for shipment of collection containers in a timely manner
Update the Medline ReNewal Collection Container Locations sheet to provide an accurate record of where all containers have been placed throughout the facility
Provide support to in-service sessions as directed by the assigned Account Manager
Make regular rounds throughout the facility; initially to introduce self and Medline ReNewal, and eventually to help answer questions and share any staff concerns with the assigned Account Manager
100% local travel to Altoona, Everett, Somerset, and Cumberland
Ensure program supplies remain stocked for use; distribute program collateral throughout the facility as directed by the assigned Account Manager
Qualifications:
High School Diploma (GED) preferred
Residence in the general Altoona/Everett/Somerset/Cumberland area
Able to travel locally 100% of the time

The Field Service Engineer is responsible for onsite installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of Leica equipment.
This position reports to the District Field Service Manager, Central and is part of the Service Department working remotely to cover the Central Region.

The Opportunity
The Field Service Automation Engineer is the primary automation account contact covering both technical support and customer experience. The position provides on-going proactive product support for assigned accounts. The customer experience aspect of this role will focus on increasing customer loyalty; securing retention; and driving value expansion at assigned accounts.

This position is a remote position.
Territory: Central and Southern Wisconsin.

What You'll Work On
Provide technical Level I and Level II phone and on-site support to proactively maintain product performance or resolve customer complaints for hardware; software; and reagent issues. Level I support is defined to a specific set of error codes that could be repaired in less than1.5 hrs. Level II support is defined as any error code excluding Level I that would be resolved in more than 1.5 hrs.
Perform proactive service support activities to maintain system performance. Apply standard troubleshooting tools or concepts to identify the real issue and its root cause.
Determine level of urgency of service support requests; develop recommendations and implement solutions that reflect customer and Abbott business need.
Record accurate and timely documentation of customer complaints and the action taken to resolve the concern.
Plan and prioritize customer visits and activities to do in each account.
Prepare; schedule; and execute training events with customers to improve customer self-sufficiency by developing the customer's ability to troubleshoot/repair analyzers and increase knowledge of component replacement and assays.
Coordinate order, delivery, and billing of products and/or services in assigned accounts. Monitor inventory and replenish accordingly.
Responsible for Service Contract Sales at assigned accounts.
Partner with Enterprise Account Manager and/or Sales Executive to develop account-specific lab strategy and execution throughout commercial cycle and participate in customer business reviews.
Understand competitive landscape of assigned accounts or territory and leverage it to maximize business opportunities. Develop/preserve strong relationships to gain meaningful insights that will allow for value expansion opportunities. Responsible for achieving revenue generation goals in assigned accounts.
Required Qualifications
Associate's Degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum Experience / Training Required.
2 years of relevant experience with instrumentation utilized in a laboratory environment.
2 years of experience interfacing with customers.

The Field Service Engineer is responsible for onsite installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of Leica equipment.
This position reports to the District Field Service Manager, West and is part of the Service Department working remotely to cover the Western United States Region.

Visit customers (primarily universities and biotech companies) for preventive maintenance actions, fault analysis, upgrades, installation, maintenance, and repair to achieve optimum customer care delivering professional service with effective working practices.

Job Duties: Design, deploy, operate, automate, and continuously improve financial and legal service product applications. Work to keep revenue and reputation-critical systems highly available and reliable by measuring and monitoring availability, performance, and overall system health. Perform production readiness reviews and ensure operational resource capacity based on business criticality of the application. Perform Service Maintenance activities such as Request Management, Incident and Outage Management, Event Management, and Service Level Management. Perform service transition activities such as Change Management, Release Management, Cutover Transition to Go-Live, Knowledge Management, and Continuous Service Improvement. Collaborate with business partners, Technology Product Owners, build team, Developer/SaaS vendors, and architects to drive solutions to build stronger and more reliable products. Collaborate with TPOs and other stakeholders to engineer solutions through automation, preventative measures that deliver high quality and high availability corporate business technology products. Accountable for delivery and maintenance of SLA by validating, classifying, and responding to service requests according to SLA. Maintain compliance and audit requirements, including completing compliance assessments. Collaborate with various stakeholders for incident and outage management, including major incidents and timely resolution according to SLAs. Responsible for Change Lifecycle, and contribute to the Release Management Lifecycle, including release review and validation, planning, building and configuring, testing and acceptance, operational readiness, and deployment. Monitor and measure the quality of IT operations, benchmark metrics, perform analysis and identify improvement actions. Ensure ticket volumes for the consumption-based model remain within budget.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Master's degree in Information Systems, Applied Computer Science or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Lead - Technology Services Application Maintenance-related occupation.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$135,000 - $155,000 annually
