Shipping Clerk JOB SUMMARY The primary purpose of this position is to create appropriate documentation for shipping and ensure that carts are assembled appropriate for shipping to customer. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Essential Duties: Accurately make all tickets for all accounts. Packing includes getting special items to replenish supply closer to shipping desk. Closing at the scale in the production plant Handle all communication with upstairs office to ensure that all daily accounts have been received and /or accounted for. Also ensure that all errors or miscommunications (Fast Track) are completed in a timely manner. Ensure that all COG accounts/items (Lab coats, Coverlets, etc.) have been filled correctly every day. Follow direction of immediate supervision as to the distribution of linen items that are projected to be short. Distribute to driver and keep a copy with the order and bin tickets. Make changes in Alliant if errors are found. Direct shipping and dock employees to ensure smooth, speedy, accurate, and presentable filling of orders (including clinics and laundry logic area) and loading of trucks. Checking trucks off. Prepare Delivery Manifests once a full order is completed and print. Print final bin tickets and tape to bins. The Transportation and Warehouse Department are vital parts of HealthRIGHT 360's operations, and are primarily responsible for the following: The Warehouse Worker is responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of the Warehouse. Perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming products, loading and unloading trucks, packing and shipping orders, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse. Warehouse Assistant is responsible for assisting with warehouse inventory tracking, auditing, shipping/receiving, and ordering process. Ensure warehouse is clean and safe at all times. Key Responsibilities Warehouse & Inventory Responsibilities: Assist the Operations Manager in performing warehouse storage, shipping, and receiving of in-kind donations, purchasing products, and all other agency inventory-related task. Screens and completes facility request. Ensures that merchandise is secure and properly stored. Processes, sorts, evaluates and test donations. Ensure safety of warehouse. Assists with loading and unloading trucks. Drives and assists with product pickups as needed. Assists with facility upkeep.
