I enjoyed the atmosphere of this company. The people I worked with were great, the pay was fair, and I enjoyed my job in the marketing and event coordinating department.
I hated the way upper management handled promotions. They would often bring people in from other departments who had no clue what it is we did, versus hiring from our department where there were several people who were more than qualified for the position. For example. The 27 year old guy from HR, the guy from Dallas who was in communications, the gal from R and D.you see my point. This happened repeatedly in the last 4 years I was there, and it was what prompted me to quit.
Bonuses were decent and vacation time was very fair. I did have a corporate AMEX and a company paid iPhone - always had the newest model available.
While training it was interesting, fun and learning new things.
Harassment and discrimination. Mostly from Asians, micromanaging, monitoring what Im doing every day. Insults behind my back.🥺
Learning how to do quality Control inspection with the help of those who took the time and patience to show me. Even my Supervisor 😊
I didn't know the CEO there.
By bringing to the forefront how people should be treated with respect even those that look and act different than others, respect boundaries, put themselves in others situation. Let to talk to each other with respect not behind each other's back that can create a toxic and stressful environment.
