Our program structure: Our externships are flexible-they can range from two to eight weeks during the year, according to your college curriculum - but are typically two or three weeks in length. Job Description & Program Goal: The 21C Internship aims to provide high school students who are interested in pursuing a career in the education field with a school-year internship. This internship allows students to gain valuable experience while offering additional support to students at 21st CCLC school sites, which include: Collins Middle School, Horace Mann, Witchcraft Heights, and Bentley Academy Internship Commitment: The 21C internship is a 10-week winter program, with the potential to extend for an additional 10 weeks during the spring session. Interns are required to attend a program orientation in December and participate in bi-weekly training sessions with the intern liaison. These sessions are designed to help interns build the skills necessary for success in their roles. Interns must also schedule a pre-internship walkthrough with their site coordinator.
