Proficient mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite software for post-production.
Experience editing in the Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Lightroom, Photoshop, and Premiere).
Time management skills for scheduling shoots and for post-production.
Ability to work in a team-oriented, creative environment.

The Guest Services Specialist (GSS) is a student who is employed by University Student Housing to assist in the daily management and operation of a Residence Hall/Complex during the summer season. As a member of the Residence Life staff, the GSS works with Residence Life Coordinators, Graduate Hall Coordinators/Graduate Assistants, Interns for University Student Housing, Senior Specialists and Summer Operations professional staff in creating a positive environment for all campus guests. Weekly work will include desk coverage at residence halls, weekly meetings, Housekeeping assistance, building preparation, and other summer operational tasks. Many times, the GSS is the first contact individuals experience in the residence halls and at Texas Tech University.
Administration
Work shifts at 24-hour service desk, including late night and weekend shifts (transportation not provided).
Provide excellent customer service in person and via phone through a residence hall service desk.
Assist Residence Life Staff in any summer camp and conference preparation tasks, such as creating key packets and posting signage.
Issue keys and equipment during assigned shifts.
Distribute main and packages in accordance with federal mail guidelines.
Communicate effectively with students, professional staff, key stakeholders such as Housekeeping/Facilities, and visitors.
Utilize departmental software and databases necessary for the operation of the residential complex, including but not limited to Iris, Roompact, EzTrackIt, and StarRez.
