ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Support instruction and behavior interventions using ABA techniques such as prompting, positive reinforcement, discrete trial training (DTT), and task analysis as directed by the classroom teacher.
* Facilitate expressive and receptive communication by modeling and encouraging student use of AAC devices, picture exchange systems, and other tools under teacher or therapist guidance.
* Use proactive de-escalation strategies and follow the student's behavior support plan and approved Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) techniques to ensure safety and support student regulation.
* Deliver individualized or small group academic and functional instruction, monitor student engagement, and reinforce positive behaviors as directed by the teacher or specialist team.
* Administers first aid to provide emergency care.
* Assist with needs related to working with special needs students such as diapering, tube feeding, toileting, catheters, lifting, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Position Overview
This role supports the Construction & Project Management (C&PM) organization at client's nuclear facility. The specialist provides advanced SharePoint administration and technical project coordination for capital and O&M projects. Key Responsibilities
Develop, organize, and maintain project SharePoint sites for construction and capital/O&M projects.
Ensure Teams and SharePoint are up to date, properly structured, and accessible to authorized users.
Partner with Project Managers to track deliverables, actions, and document control processes.
Upload, publish, and archive controlled documents to appropriate SharePoint locations.
Provide SharePoint and Teams training and technical support to project staff.
Support project startup and closeout phases, including document duplication, scanning, transmitting, and archiving.
Assist with onboarding/offboarding of department and contract employees (SSIS entries, training coordination, paperwork).
Communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.

Required Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Applied Management, Business, or Project Management, plus 2+ years of advanced administrative or technical experience; or

High school diploma/GED plus 6+ years of advanced administrative or technical experience.
Required Industry Background:
Experience working in a commercial nuclear power plant environment (strongly preferred).

STANDING: This activity is required on a limited basis as the teacher/para-educator has a sit/stand option while working with the students.
WALKING: This activity is performed on a regular basis throughout the workday. It is required to get to and from the playground areas and to move around the classroom. Walking is typically not required beyond distances of 200 feet to go from the classroom out to the playground area.
This position includes the playground, cafeteria, and general student supervision duty. The para-educator may be required to do daily playground duty, including recesses, cafeteria, and bus duty up to 1.5 hours per day.
CAN WORKER CHANGE POSITIONS FREQUENTLY? Yes. The para-educator has the capability of alternating from standing to walking while on playground duty and can sit, stand, or walk in the classroom, maintaining contact with the students.
