The hourly pay range for this position is $16.00 to $16.50 hourly. Final compensation decisions are based on experience, skills, location, and internal equity. This role may also be eligible for performance-based incentives or other benefits.

While the patient is in transit, they are responsible for communicating any continued care needs of the patient to Nursing or the Specialty area.

Job Summary and Qualifications
The Imaging Student Extern delivers high quality, patient-centered care by performing a variety of delegated basic patient care skills while gaining practical experience and knowledge in imaging principles. Under the supervision of a Registered Radiologic Technologist, the Imaging Student Extern prepares for and assists with x-ray procedures, in accordance with the Extern's skills/training and the needs of the Department. The Imaging Student Extern is currently enrolled and in good standing in an accredited school of radiography and can perform higher-level procedures once competency is achieved.
What qualifications you will need:
* Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
* Currently enrolled and in good standing in an accredited school of Radiography
* 1 years of imaging education completed, or as mandated by state of practice
* Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree
