Work Schedule:
We work in a hybrid and traditional environment, and you may be expected to work onsite in the office up to 5 days per week. In-office workdays are determined by the nature of the work and scheduled by your supervisor. Per the City's Telecommuting Policy, interns must be based in the Bay Area for the extent of their internship.
The internship follows a 40-hour work-week, generally between the hours of 8 AM and 5 PM, Monday to Friday. Work outside these hours may be required for fieldwork, outreach events, etc. Interns may be eligible for a flexible work schedule, subject to supervisor and division approval. Interns may work up to 1,040 hours in a fiscal year. As a Summer Architecture Intern in Gensler's Los Angeles office, you will join our creative studio environment for a full-time, paid internship opportunity.

Role expectations

Support the Clinical Development team with various tasks such as performing literature reviews, assisting in clinical evaluation plans and reports, working in the dental clinic, etc.
Support the Clinical Research Operations team with various tasks such as putting together study-related binders, reviewing study documentation for grammatical, formatting and spelling errors, creating data collection trackers and charts, updating any necessary templates, etc.
Assist with documentation and organization of various programs and projects
Assist with development of presentation materials including handouts, posters, graphs, and PowerPoint presentations
Present at the end of your employment with Align regarding your intern program participation
Follow all departmental and company procedures as indicated in quality, administrative, or other systems

JOB DESCRIPTION/PROJECT: The Clinical Pharmacology Intern will be responsible for the design, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of PK/PD studies in support of molecules in nonclinical and clinical development. This individual will work with Clinical Pharmacology leaders on projects and provide support in designing the Clinical Pharmacology strategy with an emphasis on dose and regimen selection. The assignment will be related to core clinical pharmacology activities with specific tasks targeted to answer key development questions and achieve short-term goals for the department. Strong training in PK/PD analyses with a preference for population-based modeling and simulation

Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
