Perform day-to-day tasks to support assigned Food and Beverage Outlet. This will include administrative tasks as well as hands on, operational duties.
Complete special projects to support assigned area with meeting business needs while satisfying internship requirements.
Work various special events, including parades, concerts, fairs and Island Impact events to assist with property needs and community outreach.
Uphold operational standards and instill team coordination in a high-volume service environment.
Work 3 - 5 special events, including parades, concerts, fairs and festivals to assist with property needs.

Girls on the Run Minnesota is a non-profit 501(c)(3) community-based organization. Our mission is to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. This spring, our 1,000+ volunteer coaches will mentor more than 3,500 young girls (3rd through 8th graders) with an 8-week, 16-lesson curriculum that is research based and combines training for a 5K with social and emotional life skill building. We integrate running with specific life skills training such as healthy decision-making, setting boundaries, empathy, contributing to the community, leadership and teamwork in schools and communities throughout Minnesota. Our spring 2026 internships provide an opportunity to make a difference and receive valuable experience with an outstanding youth empowerment program.
We have internship opportunities in Fundraising and Operations. Our interns are expected to work an average of 10 hours per week throughout the semester, including serving as a GOTR Coach. Interns must be available at least 2-3 weekday afternoons between 2:00 - 5:00pm for coaching our program at a local school and 1 weekday (ideally Monday, Tuesday or Thursday between 10:00am-2:00pm) to work in the Girls on the Run office in St. Paul.
