The Student Intern spends 1 - 12 hour shift per week, working side by side with a Registered Nurse until graduation, learning to chart, developing better time management, quick assessment skills and more. Must have completed your Pharmacology and MS 1, and be in your last year of nursing school to be eligible. The Student Intern trains as a Patient Care Technician (PCT) provides high-quality, patient-centered care by performing delegated tasks in alignment with the PCT's training and the department's needs.
