General Information:
This position will be for 20 hours per week, with a flexible schedule sometime between the hours of 8 am - 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
The Office of Advancement Gifts and Records is responsible for tracking and updating the data and donations of all James Madison University constituents in a timely and accurate manner. We work independently and as teams to complete a large volume of database entries and updates.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Data entry position with a main focus on updating and adding biographical information on alumni, parents, corporations, and friends to the Affinaquest system.
* Responding to Cases: ability to research information and accurately verify data.
* Assist with in honor and in memory acknowledgements and receipting.
* Accuracy and attention to detail are required.
* Donor confidentiality is essential to all positions within our department.
Qualifications:
Strong database skills, ability to manipulate Excel spreadsheets, perform Word document merges, and manipulate PDFs using Adobe Acrobat Pro, strong internet research skills, has a keen eye for detail, good problem-solving skills, and is a quick, independent learner.

Create drawings that exhibit the detail and method of assembly for a variety of projects.
