DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under general supervision, participates in the day-to-day activities of assigned functional area assisting in the completion of routine and non-routine tasks.
Assists in applying knowledge to analyze, investigate and resolve problems.
Assists in developing electronic and hard copy reports, records, diagrams and charts.
Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
Supports the design of missile, projectile, or other air vehicle airframes.
Performs aerodynamic predictions for missiles, projectiles, or other air vehicles using engineering level tools and/or Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) codes.
Perform first order propulsion analysis.
May assist in the planning and execution of laboratory, wind tunnel, or field-based testing and performing post-test analyses.
Supports the development of conceptual and preliminary design tools.
Perform data analysis tasks, such as analyzing aerodynamic databases or flight test data, using standard tools such as MATLAB or Python.
Participates in the day to day activities of assigned functional area assisting in the completion of non-routine and advanced tasks.
Assists in applying engineering principles to analyze, investigate and resolve non-routine problems.
Assists in developing electronic and hard copy reports, records, diagrams and charts of results from engineering tasks.
Make a 15 minute technical presentation to company leaders summarizing the work performed during the internship period.
Maintains the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
Other duties as assigned or required.

The MDG supports a variety of government (Missile Defense Agency, Navy Missile Defense) programs through modeling and simulation, testing, and system analysis related to the defense of the homeland and military assets from ballistic missile threats. Corvid's MDG analysis includes missile intercept modeling using first-principle physics codes, aerodynamic modeling of missiles and debris, development of finite element models, computational electromagnetics modeling, modeling of BMDS radars, modeling of BMDS interceptor seekers, and analysis of BMDS sensor data (RF and EO/IR).
Example Responsibilities
Research, develop, and test artificial intelligence, machine learning, and computer vision algorithms.
Process and analyze data from a variety of sources, including radar, EO/IR, and multi-sensor data.
Improve, optimize, and tune existing AI/ML models as well as develop new algorithms and models from scratch
Basic Qualifications
A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate (preferred) degree from an accredited college/university AND graduating during or after December 2025
Be majoring in Math, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related field.

Assist in answering incoming calls, respond to customer requests for service, troubleshoot problems and help develop solutions
Follow up with customers on ticket status, next steps, progress, and resolution
Assist the help desk team in everyday technical responsibilities.
Appropriately record events, problems, and their resolution.
Experience hands on work experience in support of on-going projects.
Deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment by managing time and effort across multiple projects.

Qualifications
Education/Experience
Must currently be enrolled at an accredited college/university in an undergraduate or graduate level degree program (Computer Science, IT, or related field of study required) at the time of the internship (Summer 2026) or semester immediately following (Fall 2026).
Basic computer knowledge/experience.
Basic troubleshooting skills.
Installation of workstations and applications.
Knowledge of Windows Operating System.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

The internship program includes a 12-16-week job study that highlights banking processes specific to the placement and how they interrelate. Our internship is designed for candidates who are sales oriented and interested in sales or management. Our highly structured 10-12 week introductory course is paid and will provide candidates a working knowledge of the industry by exposing them to all aspects of the electrical distribution field through a combination of mentoring and on-the-job training.
