Maintain computer systems by working closely with IT staff. Maintain inventory of required supplies and ensure availability of supplies to the office by ordering new supplies before levels are critically low. Implement and administer policies and best practices to streamline processes and work with the owner and other team members to ensure compliance. Ensure that client/new client inquiries are responded to by team members within 24 hours. Manage the schedule - audit for double bookings and make sure every patient who has a plan of care is scheduled out for their plan of care. Assist the front office to ensure that clients are charged for services so that revenue is maximized. Assist the owner in ensuring that the company complies with State, County and Federal regulatory bodies. Scrutinize expenses and suggest alternatives to improve financial efficiency. Input revenue, patient encounters, and the number of leads into a document used to track this data so the owner can make informed business decisions. As part of the professional veterinary curriculum, colleges encourage off-campus educational experiences in practices outside of the teaching hospital. Practical experience in a well-run and contemporary practice can be a valuable component of your veterinary education, preparing you to deliver better care after graduation. Our program is dedicated to contributing to your practice-readiness and to help you hit the ground running after graduation. Our program structure: Our externships are flexible-they can range from two to eight weeks during the year, according to your college curriculum - but are typically two or three weeks in length. Your schedule will include days, evenings and weekends. Our externship rotations are designed to allow students, under veterinary supervision, to practice the problem-solving, technical and communication skills that they have acquired during their clinical preparation. Presents self in a professional manner. Primary Responsibilities: Represents their title as an Intern in transparent and professional manner at all times with both employees and clients/families. Attends weekly supervision (individual/group supervision varies based on school requirements). Attends treatment team meetings. Attends weekly therapist training. Trains up to and maintains a caseload of IOP clients by providing and directing psychotherapeutic intervention during treatment for OCD and other mental health disorders which will include case conceptualizations, development of treatment plans, and perpetuating a skillful and organized IOP. Co-facilitates/Facilitates various IOP groups. Learns and conducts de-escalation techniques as well as crisis planning and management. Maintains comprehensive and timely documentation related to progress notes, group therapy notes, etc. Provides case management related to client caseload. Maintains communication between their associate clinical director and clinical assistant team. Supports in maintaining client satisfaction. Ensures clear communication about school expectations including holiday breaks to both their clinical team and to their clients in a timely, clear, conscious, and professional manner. Assumes tasks related to clinical treatment that may consist of clerical, clinical assistant, and or project development as needed. Required Qualifications: Proficient knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and other computer software. Accurate and efficient electronic data entry. Punctual and maintain excellent attendance. Organized, detail-oriented, takes initiative, and completes job responsibilities independently. Multitasking, problem-solving, interpersonal, and strong written and verbal communication skills. Thrive in a changing work environment including inside, outside, and loud noise level. The Clinical Internship Program under Casa Counseling/Consejeria provides training and clinical supervision to graduate students enrolled in an accredited professional graduate school to obtain a master's level degree in social work or marriage family therapy as MFT trainees or MSW student interns. Casa Counseling/Consejeria s Clinical Internship Program is committed to providing training in evidence-based practices. Our goal is to provide interns with the theoretical and experiential base that will become their foundation for future professional work in mental health and social services. These individuals will acquire the knowledge and skills to work competently within the mental health system at the completion of their Clinical Internship Program. Clinical Interns will be integrated into our interdisciplinary clinical team while enriching each other s experience through an interchange of ideas and perspectives while working collaboratively. Casa Counseling/Consejeria provides training each month to further our clinical staff s breadth of knowledge and enrichment, ultimately allowing them to better serve their client s needs. Training includes in-house presentations on intervention strategies, best practices, and more. Outside presentations include training from local law enforcement, attorneys, and community partners. Mental Health Community Clinic- Casa Counseling/Consejeria, a division of Casa de la Familia, has a low-cost therapy program that gives many the opportunity to receive counseling services according to their family income. Students provide individual, family, and group therapy, while coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team to provide excellent patient care. Practicum students will also learn to assess clinical crises and apply risk management techniques as needed.
