TITLE Assistant Director, Internships & Experiential Learning The Assistant Director, Internships & Experiential Learning provides leadership and coordination in developing, implementing and evaluating student internships and the experiential learning program for TWU. The Assistant Director serves as the point of contact for department internship supervisors or coordinators, maintains a clearinghouse of internship and experiential learning opportunities, evaluations, and assessment data in support of internships and experiential learning. The Assistant Director plans and conducts workshops and promotes internships & experiential learning institution-wide. The Assistant Director will provide purposeful education to undergraduate and graduate students through real-world experiences such as service learning, internships, practica, or civic engagement outside of the classroom. Students will focus on honing their emergency skills including obtaining patient vitals, processing laboratory samples, caring for hospitalized patients, triaging emerging cases, and collaborating in a fast-paced environment.
